Sophisticated design and comfortable ride

Wuyang Honda’s newly announced NWG150 is a model that combines the functionality of an urban scooter with the comfort of touring. In addition to the standard version, which is 1940mm long, 742mm wide, and 1163mm high, the touring version, the Magari version, is 2108mm long and 1282mm high, and is designed for longer distances. The standard version weighs 137kg, while the Magari version weighs 147kg, providing both easy handling and stability.

In terms of design, the car adopts a style that combines straight lines and cut surfaces based on the “CITY SUV” concept. The front features position lights with a “dragon’s whiskers” motif, and a large stepped light in the center, giving it a unique presence. The rear features array-type taillights, giving it a cutting-edge impression.

High-performance engine and advanced safety technology

The NWG150 is equipped with a 149.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine that produces a maximum power output of 11.4kW/8500rpm and a maximum torque of 14.4Nm/6500rpm. This gives it a top speed of 107km/h, making it suitable for a wide range of riding styles, from urban riding to suburban touring. It also boasts excellent fuel economy, with actual measurements showing 2.1L/100km for the standard version and 2.2L/100km for the Mata-Tabi version.

In terms of safety, the bike comes standard with dual-channel ABS and TCS (Traction Control System) on the front and rear wheels, ensuring stable driving even on slippery roads. Furthermore, it features semi-slick tires and a five-stage adjustable rear suspension, providing a comfortable ride and excellent maneuverability.

Full range of smart functions and comfortable equipment

The NWG150 is equipped with a number of the latest smart technologies. The 7-inch TFT full-color LCD display offers three selectable UI themes, improving visibility and operability. It also offers navigation projection via Wi-LINK+ and multiple unlocking methods via Bluetooth, NFC, and APP, further enhancing convenience.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a function to connect with DJI’s action camera “OSMO ACTION 5 PRO,” making it easy to record and share footage while riding. It also comes equipped with a variety of other features for everyday use, such as a front glove box that supports 15W fast charging, a large 30L under-seat storage, and a Type-C charging port.

Special equipment for the touring specification “Matabi version”

The “Matabi Edition” is designed for touring and comes with additional equipment to support long-distance riding. Standard equipment includes a raised transparent windscreen, durable engine guard, and a rear box with smart functions, further enhancing comfort and safety. Optional features such as a tire pressure monitoring system and heated handlebars are also available, allowing for customization according to the rider’s needs.

The NWG150 is a bike that can be used in a variety of situations, from commuting in the city to weekend touring. Although it will be released in Nakago, we hope to see it introduced in Japan as well.
