Triumph announces limited edition modern classic “ICON EDITION”

Triumph Bonneville T100 Icon Edition…From 1,403,000 yen (tax included)

  • Triumph unveils ICON EDITION, a new limited edition collection of modern classics
  • The collection features seven different models, each featuring the historic cursive logo.
  • Sales will begin at authorized Triumph dealers from December 2024.

Seven limited edition models featuring the historic cursive logo

This historic script logo has not been featured on a Triumph tank for over 100 years. However, this time, this historic logo is adorned on the body of a motorcycle, and seven unique and iconic limited edition Modern Classic Series models will be released, fusing contemporary classic style and performance with Triumph’s history.

With premium details and unrivaled individuality, this limited collection offers a refined new custom taste and pays homage to Triumph’s incredible history.

This limited-edition collection features a sophisticated Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver color combination, perfectly complementing the unique and authentic design of these modern classics. Crafted to perfection, each model features hand-painted lines and exclusive graphics featuring a gold script logo reminiscent of Edwardian jewelry.

From the laid-back elegance of the Bonneville T100 and T120, to the muscular style of the Scrambler 900, 1200 X, and 1200 XE, to the customized flair of the Bobber and Speedmaster, each model captures the essence of its original while adding a new dimension with distinctive color schemes.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles, said:

“Triumph’s modern classics have earned a timeless reputation for their distinctive style, high quality, premium finish and contemporary performance, but this collection, combined with the heritage and passion embodied in our 1907 script logo, will appeal to a wider range of riders, from young to experienced. With a striking

new paint scheme, bespoke graphics and custom logo, the Icon Edition is the perfect blend of heritage, style and modern capability, making it the perfect choice for riders who appreciate classic style but want modern performance.”

A Triumph icon

An icon of Triumph Motorcycles and recognized by many riders, the Triumph logo is revered and beloved worldwide. The Triumph logo as a trademark originated in 1902 as a shield-shaped design incorporating the Triumph Cycle Co. Ltd. name and the coat of arms of Coventry, the city of manufacture.

However, this emblem was replaced by the Triumph script logo in 1907. This scripted version of the Triumph logo was used for only seven years, but has since been featured on countless custom designs and collectibles, and enthusiasts have tattooed it.

The design underwent further evolution in 1915, when the word “Motors” was added to the logo. By the 1920s, Triumph had returned to a colored heraldic typeface. A brief change in 1932 introduced an oval globe logo, but in 1934, the logo reverted to a capitalized word logo. In 1936, the word logo was changed to a bolder font and keylines were added around the letters, and the logo has been passed down for over 50 years. In 1990, a blue version brought a subtle change to the brand, but in 2005, the keylines around the letters were removed and the logo was boldly refreshed again. In

2013, the current logo debuted, with the word logo given a modern black styling and a modern triangular logo added.

And now, in 2025

, with this Icon Edition, the memorable 1907 script logo has finally been revived.
