A new chapter in mid-size sports bikes – the birth of the RS 457 GP replica
At the 2025 EICMA (Milan International Motorcycle Show), Aprilia unveiled the RS 457 GP Replica, a special edition model reminiscent of a MotoGP machine, based on the existing mid-class sports model RS 457.
This is not just a color-change model, but a special edition that also enhances the riding quality in terms of equipment. As the name “replica” suggests, this is a bike that reflects the image and technology that Aprilia has cultivated in MotoGP in a street model. The graphics and finish inspired by the race machine “RS-GP” will inspire the passion of riders. It is attracting attention as a specification that further highlights the characteristics of the RS 457, which combines easy handling with sportiness.
Characteristics and lineage of the base model “RS457”
The RS457 is a model developed as a more manageable mid-class bike while inheriting the tradition of Aprilia sports bikes. The 457cc water-cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine has enough power to be enjoyed even by riders with a European A2 license, while also pursuing a light and nimble ride.
The maximum output is approximately 47.6hp, the maximum torque is approximately 43.5Nm, and the peak power is generated around 9400rpm. The engine uses a DOHC 8-valve structure, which combines a smooth rotation feel with powerful mid- and low-speed response.
The aluminum frame is both rigid and lightweight, achieving a high power-to-weight ratio. This allows for easy handling and sporty performance, from stop-and-go urban areas to winding roads. The electronic control system is equipped with traction control and multiple riding modes, allowing users to customize their riding style.

The GP replica version maintains the basic performance of the base model, but expands its range of performance by equipping it with equipment that emphasizes sporty driving. One of its biggest features is the standard equipment of a quick shifter. This allows you to change gears up and down without operating the clutch, realizing a racing shift feel.
In addition, sports brake pads with a high friction coefficient are used on the front, contributing to improved braking performance. The strengthened suspension and braking performance can be said to be a flavor that responds to riders who want a more aggressive riding. The exterior is clad in exclusive graphics reminiscent of the MotoGP works machine RS-GP, and the coloring that combines gloss and matte creates a powerful look. The aluminum frame, swing arm, and steering plate are all black, giving the overall impression of being compact.
