Bimota KB998 Rimini… 6,930,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)
The ultimate collaboration between Bimota and Kawasaki
The KB998 Rimini is a special motorcycle developed in collaboration between Kawasaki and Bimota, a proud Italian motorcycle brand. Named after the Italian city of Rimini where Bimota’s workshop is located, the bike was born as a crystallization of Bimota’s passion.
It was developed as a street model based on the KB998 Rimini that will compete in the Superbike World Championship in the 2025 season, and is a rare example of racing machine technology directly adapted for road use .
Limited production number and schedule
125 KB998 Riminis will be produced by February 24, 2025, with an additional 125 produced by December 31 of the same year. To comply with FIM (International Motorcycling Federation) regulations, a further 500 units will be produced in 2026, bringing the total production to a limited edition of 750 units.
This is truly a special motorcycle that only the chosen few can own.
Innovative chassis and suspension technology

Bimota’s traditional frame design philosophy
The chassis design is based on Bimota’s long-standing chassis design philosophy, and combines two different frame materials: a chrome molybdenum main frame and a billet aluminum alloy plate. This unique structure achieves a high level of balance between lightness and rigidity.
The suspension is equipped with Showa ø43mm BFF front forks and BFRC lite rear shock absorbers, which are positioned vertically to achieve ideal road-holding performance.
Enhanced adjustment functions
The upper eccentric shaft allows for 15mm of adjustment up and down, allowing for detailed settings to suit the rider’s preferences and riding conditions. It also comes equipped with adjustable engine mounts and upper rear suspension mounts, providing ultimate customizability.
200ps high-performance engine and electronic control system
Power unit inherited from the Superbike World Championship
The engine is the latest version of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, which has won the Superbike World Championship seven times. It is a high-performance, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, in-line four-cylinder 998cc engine that produces a maximum output of 200ps/13,600rpm and a maximum torque of 111Nm/11,700rpm.
Extensive electronic control functions
In addition to KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), S-KTRC (Sport Kawasaki Traction Control System), and KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), it also has sufficient functionality for street use, such as power mode selection and electric cruise control.
The cornering management function utilizes an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to achieve both safety and driving performance.
The world’s first variable winglet technology
Aerodynamic devices incorporating racing trends
The beautifully painted carbon fiber fairing, hand-finished by Bimota’s craftsmen, is equipped with winglets to obtain downforce, a recent racing trend. This is not simply a fixed system, but an innovative system with an adjustable mechanism.

A dedicated ECU monitors vehicle speed and braking application and automatically adjusts the winglets via cables and servo motors to provide downforce up to 160km/h, and adjusts to a horizontal position between 160km/h and 200km/h to minimise drag.
Practical aerodynamic effects
When the brakes are applied, it provides maximum downforce, optimal downforce during braking, corner entry and mid-corner, and also has the effect of suppressing wheel lift, which significantly improves safety and speed on the circuit.
Premium parts and craftsmanship
Carefully selected premium components
The braking system is made by Brembo and is equipped with a ø330mm semi-floating disc at the front, an M50 monoblock caliper, and a radial pump master cylinder, while a ø220mm rear disc is installed.
The wheels are Marchesini 7-spoke forged aluminum wheels, and the tires are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires. The exhaust system uses an Akrapovic silencer.
The special feeling of handmade
Each motorcycle is hand-assembled and painted by Italian craftsmen, offering a special feeling that cannot be found in mass-produced motorcycles. It also comes standard with an assist and slipper clutch that prevents hopping caused by back torque and ensures smooth clutch operation.
