The color’s simple, straight lines and powerful surface structure seem to represent the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary. The image of the endless sky and vast land embodies the “adventure” concept of this model. The black lines around the rear create the impression of a goggle band, creating a graphic design that is more geared towards off-road riding. It comes in three colors: red, blue, and silver, to perfectly complement any color adventure model.

The latest adventure model with even more refined “dodge” performance
The TOUR-CROSS V is a multi-purpose sports helmet that can be easily converted into three styles to suit the rider’s riding style and motorcycle, and is equipped with the latest features to ensure comfort and visibility on long rides, making it perfect for blazing through any road.
The multi-purpose sports model “TOUR-CROSS V” can be freely converted to either on- or off-road style without the need for optional parts. You can choose from three styles depending on the situation: “Adventure Style” with a visor and shield for long touring, “Off-road Style” with the shield removed and goggles worn, and “On-road Style” with the visor removed and the shield on.
While pursuing high multi-use performance, Arai’s unique thorough safety and comfort are also taken into consideration. The shell has evolved into a smoother shape. It has been improved to deflect as much impact as possible by using continuous rounded curves in the range where the most collisions are expected in real accidents.
In order to expand the smooth shell area, the shield system “VAS” that is also used in Arai’s on-road helmets is adopted. The shield visor attachment point is positioned lower than the previous model, and by expanding the smooth shell area, it contributes to further improvement of “dodge performance”.
The main material used for the shell resin is Arai’s latest proprietary material, which has been repeatedly improved with a special glass fiber that has a higher fiber density than regular glass fiber and is 40% stronger in both tensile and compressive strength. Furthermore, to create a strong shell that can withstand even concentrated impacts without breaking, more than 20 different components are layered and molded. The forehead is reinforced with a super fiber belt, similar to a barrel hoop.
The internal multi-stage foam liner utilizes Arai’s proud technology, which changes the hardness depending on the area of impact while molding it as a single piece. It absorbs impact continuously, contributing to the safety that Arai pursues.
There are two large exhaust heat ducts on the front. The front logo duct, which was well-received on the Astro GX, is used, providing good balance in any riding position. When drilling holes in the head, the spacing between the holes is set to 65mm or more, in accordance with company regulations, to ensure safety. Furthermore, a super fiber belt is placed on the front of the cap, contributing to improved comfort without compromising safety performance.
The other Delta Duct 6 is a duct on the top of the head that has been developed to reduce height and improve “dodgement performance.” The switch is a sliding type that is durable and provides a reliable feel when operated. It is a compact air ventilation system with a focus on design.
The nose deflector, which has an opening area 200% larger than the previous model, works in conjunction with the inner shutter to direct outside air directly to the mouth in induction mode, or in defrost mode, which opens the outer shutter and closes only the inner shutter.
The distinctive visor is specially designed to take the front logo duct into consideration. It has a wide air-through path that reduces wind resistance when riding at high speeds, reducing blurring when riding at high speeds.
The interior is made of Arai’s standard Eco Pure material. It is a functional fiber system interior that maintains the same weak acidity as bare skin and has antibacterial, deodorizing, and stain-resistant properties. It also comes equipped with an adjustment function and an intercom interior hole. It further enhances comfort and convenience, making it a must-have item for adventure riders.
