The demo car is fitted with a ton of parts from Active, with parts worth 785,334 yen.

With the 2022 model change, the Super Cub 110 and Cross Cub 110 adopted cast aluminum wheels, leaving the CT125 Hunter Cub as the only Super Cub moped to use spoke wheels. Since the CT125 Hunter Cub is an off-road-oriented bike, flexible and durable spoke wheels are likely suited for rough terrain. While aftermarket cast aluminum wheels are available, while they may perform well on the road, their strength can be a bit of a concern for hard riding, such as rock sessions and downhill runs. Responding to the requests of CT125 owners who want to enjoy hard riding and use tubeless tires on aluminum wheels, Gale Speed exhibited the forged aluminum wheel “Type-X” at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show. Instead of the same cast aluminum used on the Cross Cub and Super Cub, the Type-X is forged for impact resistance and, thanks to its particularly strong rim flange, is also suitable for off-road riding. Of course, the tires are tubeless compatible, making them safe for long-distance touring.

The spokes have a sharp cross-mesh design and are thin, but are forged to give them great strength.

It was fitted with a forged opposing two-pod caliper, and a similar caliper was fitted to the rear.

The spoke design is a cross mesh that evokes the tough image of a four-wheel drive vehicle, and has been named Type-X (cross). Because they are forged wheels, they are extremely lightweight, weighing in at 3.2 kg for the front and 3.44 kg for the rear. The original wheels weigh 3.51 kg and 3.84 kg respectively, so the total weight is reduced by 0.71 kg. Three colors are available: gloss black, gold, and solid white, but optional powder coat and anodized colors are also available. The price is expected to be 198,000 yen for a front and rear set. Delivery is scheduled for around August.

Hyperpro rear suspension features a separate tank attached to the rear fender, allowing for fine adjustments.

Also on display was a CT125 Hunter Cub demo car fitted with Hyperpro twin shocks. It has a unique style with separate tanks on each side. Preload and damping force can be adjusted, and it uses unequal pitch springs, typical of Hyperpro. This was a reference exhibit.

The rear brake is equipped with a radial pump master on the left side of the handlebars, making it easy to control with the left hand brake.

The front brakes are also equipped with Elaborate VRE brake masters.
