Acalie Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, CEO: Nakatomo Mengtao) released the 2025 model of the electric kick scooter “COSWHEEL MIRAI T Lite,” which is classified as a specific small motor-driven bicycle (specific moped), on April 15, 2025.
This model is the successor to the first model that was released following the revision of the Road Traffic Act in July 2023, and with a track record of cumulative sales of over 4,000 units, the company is optimizing performance and revising the price.
The new model has achieved both improved quality and reduced production costs, and the general retail price has been revised from the previous 176,000 yen (tax included) to 151,800 yen (tax included). Furthermore, advance reservations are scheduled to begin on April 22, 2025, at 139,800 yen (tax included), a 12,000 yen discount.
Optimized motor output and improved climbing ability
The new model is equipped with a 500W high-power motor, and by optimizing the motor output, it has achieved more powerful driving and improved hill-climbing ability, enabling stable driving even on hilly roads in urban areas and long-distance travel.
Changes to rear turn signals and taillight specifications
In the previous model, the rear turn signals and tail lamps were integrated, but in the new model, the turn signal function has been integrated into the handlebars, and the tail lamps have been changed to a simpler and more refined design, which not only improves visibility but also pursues a beautiful appearance.
Smarter wiring
Attention to detail in the exterior design has been paid to neatly arranging the wiring, resulting in a smarter exterior, which not only improves maintainability but also enhances the design.

The COSWHEEL MIRAI T Lite combines a sophisticated design that blends seamlessly into the city with the practicality of being able to customize it with a front basket and rear carrier (optional). It can be ridden either standing or seated, allowing you to enjoy riding in a way that suits your situation and lifestyle. The battery is detachable, and an optional large-capacity battery (48V, 20Ah) is also available.
