Under the weather reminiscent of early summer, 220 Beamers gathered from all over the Kanto, Koshinetsu region.
BMCJ, a domestic BMW motorcycle owners' club, is actively engaged in social activities, including socializing with BMW owners both in Japan and around the world, raising awareness of traffic safety rules and etiquette, rider training, anti-theft activities, and first aid courses. The club also regularly holds touring events, including a one-day tour every spring. The first event of 2025, marking the 30th anniversary of BMCJ's founding, was the BMCJ One Day Touring Mission in Yamanashi, held on Saturday, April 12th at the Misaka Farm Grape House in Fuefuki City.
On the day of the event, the blue skies seemed to make up for the previous day's rain, creating perfect conditions for biking. Starting around 10:00 AM, BMW riders began arriving at the special Misaka Farm Grape House venue. Following staff instructions, they parked in an orderly fashion, and after completing their check-in, they began to form groups of friends and family. While some riders were visiting as a group with their dealerships, others were attending individually. It was striking how quickly they all bonded over their shared passion for BMWs. By 11:30 AM, the parking lot was filled with numerous BMWs. Thanks to the early-summer weather, a staggering 220 BMW riders participated that day. Also set up within the venue was a promotional booth for Pozidrive, a manufacturer and retailer of products like the Body Doctor mattress, a positive-rebound mattress, motorcycle seats, and the Swing Bar Athlete, which helps relieve shoulder and back pain and maintain flexibility. Many BMW riders eagerly tried out the products.
Posidrive’s PR booth will be set up. Products such as positive rebound bedding, motorcycle seats, and swing bar athletes will be on display and for sale.
The swing bar, which is effective in relieving frozen shoulder and back pain, is a big hit with participants.
Once all the participants had gathered, they took a commemorative photo and then moved to the barbecue venue for lunch. Following a speech by BMCJ Chairman Namikawa, BMW Japan Motorcycle Division General Manager Osumi also gave a speech, and after a huge round of applause, the barbecue party began. With everyone enjoying their meal at each table, it felt like an excursion. After the meal, the long-awaited rock-paper-scissors tournament was held, with everyone competing for luxurious prizes. Everyone, including those who won prizes and those who unfortunately lost, were all excited. Thus, the BMCJ One Day Touring Mission in Yamanashi ended on a high note.

Typically, these events have a lot of content and run from morning until evening. However, BMCJ's one-day touring event lasted only a few hours, including a lunch break. As such, most participants went out touring after the event. Rather than restricting their activities during the event, the main focus seemed to be on enjoying the touring, with the aim of enjoying a barbecue and deepening friendships with fellow participants in the process.
