Special model commemorating the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Stelvio Pass
Moto Guzzi’s adventurer, the Stelvio, debuted in 2008 with an air-cooled, V-twin 1151cc engine mounted in a replacement pipe frame. Production of the Stelvio was discontinued in 2017, but it was relaunched in 2024 as a new model. The new Stelvio features a specially designed steel pipe frame. While identical in shape to the V100 Mandello, the addition of four front anchor points increases rigidity by 20%. The engine is the same as the V100 Mandello’s, a water-cooled, 1024cc compact-block V-twin engine, and is Euro 5+ compliant. The swingarm has also been extended from the V100 Mandello, resulting in a wheelbase of 1520mm. The suspension is equipped with a 46mm Sachs inverted fork in the front and a KYB shock in the rear. The wheels are 19-inch and 17-inch spoked.

The base color is white, reminiscent of snow, with blue and red accent colors. The graphics are based on the Stelvio.

The Stelvio car’s name comes from a mountain pass in the Rhaetian Alps in northern Italy, between Trentino-Alto Adige and Lombardy, with a maximum elevation of 2,500 meters and 88 consecutive curves. It’s a dream destination for motorcycle enthusiasts, car enthusiasts, and cyclists alike, and even Alfa Romeo uses it in the name of their car (written as Stelvio in Japanese). Construction of the mountain pass began in 1818, and after 63 months of work involving a total of 2,500 people, it was completed in 1825.
In 2025, the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Stelvio Pass, a commemorative model of the Moto Guzzi Stelvio will be released. The “Moto Guzzi Stelvio Ducento Tributo,” announced at EICMA 2024, features a special color scheme and will be released in a limited run of 2,758 units. The theme of this special limited edition model is the spirit of adventure. The color scheme is inspired by elements of nature, combining blue and red with a base of snow-white, and features designs of the hairpin curves of the mysterious mountain pass and the coordinates of the Stelvio Pass. The grille that protects the radiator is designed with the Moto Guzzi eagle.

Sensors are placed on the headlights and the car is equipped with driving assistance systems such as lane change assistance and forward collision warning.

It is equipped with a 5-inch color LCD meter. Heated grips and a heated seat are also standard equipment.
Equipped with a driver assistance platform based on the Imaging Leader 4D technology developed by Piaggio Fast Forward, the FWC (Forward Collision Warning), BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), and LCA (Lane Change Assist) functions ensure safer riding in all situations. Also included as standard are heated hand grips, heated rider and passenger seats, a center stand, TPMS tire pressure sensors, a bidirectional quickshifter, and the MotoGuzzi MIA multimedia platform.
The timing and price for introduction in Japan have yet to be decided.
