Teito Sangyo is popular among riders for its cost-effective engine oils
TEITO PREMIUM M4S is a synthetic engine oil made in Japan that has been certified MA2 by JASO (Japan Automobile Standards) and SN by API standards, yet is available on major online retailers for under 5,000 yen for a 4L can, making it a popular choice among many riders. This excellent value-for-money oil is sold by TEITO, also known as Teito Sangyo Co., Ltd.

The reason why the company has been able to offer such a low price for a Group 3 VHVI (high-performance oil made from mineral oil and refined to standards similar to synthetic oil) that is based on mineral oil and refined through hydrocracking is largely due to the company’s online sales strategy, which cuts advertising costs and middleman margins.

TEITO PREMIUM M4S is a synthetic oil that is gaining popularity among riders as it offers excellent cost performance. Even in the current climate of rising prices, a 4L can is sold for less than 5,000 yen.
This product is a well-balanced engine oil that can be used without any problems for everyday use such as commuting to work or school, touring, or light sporty driving, except for situations where it may not be suitable for continuous high-temperature, high-load driving such as full-throttle driving on a circuit in a liter-class super sports car.
In fact, I use this oil on my Honda Super Cub 110 and Suzuki GN125H, and even when using it in the summer there are no problems with overheating, the shifting feel is good, and I can use it without any problems at all.
TEITO brand helmets are not only affordable but also have excellent designs.
Teito Sangyo had a booth at the 52nd Tokyo Motorcycle Show, which was held from Friday, March 28th to Sunday, March 30th, 2025, so I took a look and found TEITO brand motorcycle helmets on display alongside their well-known engine oil and the recently released fuel additive “TEITO SWEEPER G5.”

Teito Sangyo launched the full-face helmet “TEITO FF922” at the end of last year. It is a high-quality helmet that is typical of the company, but at a reasonable price. Not only is it excellent in terms of functionality, but the color is unique and the design is quite cool.

“TEITO PREMIUM M4S” was on display at Teito Sangyo’s booth. In addition to the existing 10W-40, they have also started selling the popular 5W-40 synthetic oil.

This fuel additive can be used for both gasoline and diesel vehicles. Adding the right amount to your tank when refueling will help maintain good condition, and it has excellent anti-oxidation properties and anti-rust properties, so it’s also recommended for vehicles that will be stored for long periods of time. Motorcycle enthusiasts will be happy to know that it can be used on both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
The company has a long history as a motorcycle accessories manufacturer, having been founded in 1947. In 1985, it developed Japan’s first roofed three-wheeled motorcycle, the “Gyro Sneaker,” and delivered four units to the first Domino’s Pizza store, the originator of pizza delivery in Japan, laying the foundation for today’s delivery motorcycles. In 2005, the company also jointly developed and sold an LPG scooter with Tokyo Metropolitan University (now Tokyo Metropolitan University), making it a company with many achievements to its name.

Teito Sangyo is also the official distributor of THH helmets in Taiwan, offering a variety of styles including full-face, jet, and off-road helmets.
Teito Sangyo has supported riders’ motorcycle lifestyles with a variety of cost-effective products, including not only motorcycle engine oil but also Bluetooth intercoms with dashcam functionality and the import and sale of THH helmets from Taiwan. At the end of last year, the company finally announced the full-face helmet “TEITO FF922.”

The TEITO T2 Intercom is an intercom equipped with dual Bluetooth chips that allows you to make intercom calls while listening to music with “audio mix.” It comes with six color panels (not optional) so you can change them to match your mood or helmet color.
This helmet is SG standard compliant and compatible with all engine sizes, and comes standard with an inner visor, intercom hole, intercom cable holder, and more. The uniquely designed aerodynamic form smooths the airflow while riding, reducing the helmet’s lift and pushing in due to wind pressure. Furthermore, the large ventilation provided at the front and back of the crown and chin area efficiently circulates the air taken in inside the helmet, ensuring high comfort. Another special feature is the different cap bodies for M and other sizes.

The full-face helmet “TEITO FF922” is available in three solid colors: white, matte black, and matte gray.
However, the superiority of this product is not limited to its functionality. In addition to the basic “Solid” model, there is also the “Aurora Model” which changes color depending on how the light hits it, and the “Hairline” model which has a high-quality paint finish that resembles a hairline-finished aluminum. These are the unique designs that are unique to this product.

TEITO brand helmets lined up at Teito Sangyo’s booth.
Prices are 21,450 yen for “Solid,” 24,200 yen for “Aurora,” and 27,500 yen for “Hairline.” There are four sizes: M/L/XL/XXL. The helmet weighs approximately 1,650g (+/- 50g). Sales will be primarily online, just like engine oil.
(All prices include tax.)
We have high expectations for the carbon-type jet helmet that will be unveiled for the first time!
At the Teito Sangyo booth, in addition to the “TEITO FF922” currently on sale, a carbon-type jet helmet was on display for the first time. As it was a prototype, detailed specifications were not revealed, but it was quite light in the hand, and it looks like it will reduce the burden on the rider even on long-distance tours.

The helmet on the left in the photo is a carbon-type jet helmet that Teito Sangyo is currently working on commercializing.
When I asked about the price, I was asked back, “How much would you be willing to pay for it?” The quality and usability seemed pretty good, so I replied, “I’d consider buying it if it was under 50,000 yen.” The salesperson grinned and said, “Please look forward to it.” Since TEITO is user-friendly, perhaps they will come up with a strategic price that will exceed my expectations in a good way. The release date has not yet been decided, but this is also a product that looks promising for its good value for money.
