BMW R100 series

The BMW R100 is also known as the “Boxer” and is equipped with BMW’s traditional air-cooled, four-stroke, horizontally opposed, two-cylinder, OHV, two-valve, 980cc engine. “Boxer” is a word that evokes the pose of a boxing athlete, with their gloves pressed together horizontally across their chest. It also evokes the reciprocating motion of two pistons.
A typical example is the R100RS, which was released from the 1976 model to the 1992 model. This car was a pioneer of vehicles equipped with a highly windproof fairing and was a huge hit around the world. It became a long-selling model that is synonymous with BMW.
The R100 series also included the non-fairing R100/7 (1976-1978), R100T (1978-1980), R100 (1980-1984), and R100R Roadster (1991-1996).

Based on a BMW R100/7 (1978 model), the prestigious shop MOTOR FORCE, based in Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture, has customized it into a cafe racer style with a retro and elegant image.
The front suspension features a bottom-link suspension with two exposed shock absorbers, plated spoke wheels and hubs, and drum brakes, giving it a retro style.
The innovative design of the front cover with a built-in headlight, the low-positioned separate handlebars, and the bar end levers on the left and right that look like artwork create an artistic front mask.
The large-capacity gas tank is fitted with a single seat, a classic cafe racer design, creating a striking coexistence of boldness and delicacy. The front and rear fenders have been removed to enhance the presence of the foot area.

The cafe racer model features a flowing, streamlined half-type front cowl and an aggressive form. The color coordination is also meticulously coordinated, with gold accents on the wheel rims, front fork outers, gas tank emblem, and cylinder head cover, making this an artistic bike.
While the exterior evokes a nostalgic feeling, it incorporates ultra-high performance items such as an inverted front fork, a Brembo radial-mount front caliper, and a multi-function adjustable rear shock absorber, greatly increasing the potential of the suspension.
