Kawasaki to sell Tesi H2 TERA in Japan

The Tesi H2 TERA, born from a technical collaboration between Bimota and Kawasaki, is finally expected to be sold in the Japanese market. Kawasaki’s official website has revealed that it will be sold domestically. Details such as price and release date will be announced at a later date.

Special supercharged powertrain

The Tesi H2 TERA is Kawasaki’s flagship model, equipped with a supercharged inline 4-cylinder engine. The powertrain, inherited from the base Ninja H2, produces a maximum output of over 200ps. The chassis design unique to the Tesi series, which uses a unique front swingarm structure, combines rigidity with cornering performance.

The Tesi Series Lineage and the Evolution of TERA

Bimota’s Tesi series is a group of innovative sports models known for their center-hub steering structure with front and rear swingarms. The Tesi H2 TERA makes extensive use of carbon and aluminum billet to maximize aerodynamics and weight reduction. Equipped with electronically controlled suspension and the latest riding assists, it has been rebuilt as a modern hyperbike.

Significance of domestic introduction and future developments

The partnership between Bimota and Kawasaki began in 2019, and the Tesi H2 series, which has been available only in Europe until now, will finally be coming to the Japanese market. If domestic sales are realized, this will mark the first time that a supercharged Bimota vehicle will be officially available for purchase in Japan.
