The Kawasaki Z650RS is a retro sports model with a powerful water-cooled four-stroke parallel twin engine mounted in a compact body. The design was inspired by the sports model formerly known as the “ZAPPER,” and it recreates nostalgic beauty in the modern era, from the bullet-shaped meter unit lined up above the round headlight, the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, the low, slim seat, to the tail cowl.

The frame is made up of a lightweight and compact diamond frame, which itself serves as a strength member for the engine. Kawasaki’s unique trellis structure achieves both rigidity and flexibility. The power unit generates ample torque from the low to mid-range and revs up smoothly into the high-range. Equipped with KTRC, it also improves ease of handling.

New color and graphic features

The only changes from the previous model are the color and graphics, and the lineup includes the following two colors.

• Metallic Ocean Blue
• Ebony

The new color design further accentuates the nostalgic styling of the Z650RS.
