At EICMA 2024, in Hall 13, A54, stemo will be showcasing EV system solutions that meet the needs for safety and security for motorcycles, including ADAS technologies such as motorcycle recognition cameras, a gear pump-type vehicle height adjustment system, and an improved e-Axle that has been made compact enough to be mounted on the frame of existing motorcycle ICE vehicles.
In addition, the company will be showcasing products mounted on a vehicle similar to a real vehicle, allowing visitors to experience the operating feel of the brake system, which has been further improved from the previous model .
The main products and technologies that will be exhibited at the company’s exhibition booth are as follows:
Motorcycle ADAS technology:
We will introduce road surface detection technology using stereo cameras that can improve the stability control of unstable motorcycle body behavior. By utilizing our strength in stereo camera detection technology, we will be able to provide the recognition performance required for road surface detection technology and ADAS technology, which is difficult to provide with systems that combine radar and monocular cameras. In addition, taking into consideration the design of the vehicle, it will be possible to install the stereo camera as a separate unit. We will demonstrate ADAS technology and products that contribute to the safety and security of motorcycles, installed on the vehicle.
e-Axle/EV technology:
We will introduce a compact e-Axle that can be mounted on the frame of a commuter-class motorcycle. By contributing to space-saving powertrains, this will secure space for battery installation and luggage space, and also contribute to improved cruising range and load capacity. We will introduce e-Axle and EV technologies that will contribute to achieving carbon neutrality in motorcycles and creating value for motorcycles.
Suspension technology:
We will introduce a gear pump type vehicle height adjustment system that realizes smooth vehicle height adjustment according to the situation and load amount, such as improving foot reach, which leads to a sense of security when driving or stopping. We will introduce a vehicle equipped with the gear pump type vehicle height adjustment system so that you can experience its functions and effects for yourself.
Braking Technology:
In addition to the improved braking effectiveness and controllability that were well received in previous models, the latest brake system will be introduced, which also suppresses changes in lever rigidity at high temperatures. The brake system will be exhibited in a form close to that of an actual vehicle, allowing users to compare the operating feel.
