The 2024 model was unveiled for the first time at the GSX-S/R Meeting. The new color, “Pearl Vigor Blue,” is a vibrant blue.
The 2025 model, a minor change to the large sports tourer GSX-S1000GT, was unveiled for the first time in the world at the GSX-S/R Meeting 2024 held at the Suzuki Hamamatsu Plant in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture on October 20th.
The GSX-S1000GT is a model launched in 2021 based on the street fighter model GSX-S1000, equipped with a full fairing and improved touring performance through the front and rear seat shapes, optional carriers, and pannier cases. Two of the three color variations have been changed for the 2025 model.
The bike employs an electronically controlled SIRS system to assist the rider, and is also equipped with cruise control.

“Old Gray Metallic” is a combination of reddish gray metallic and bronze colored frame and wheels.
The previously available main color, the bright blue “Triton Blue Metallic,” has been discontinued and replaced with a new color, “Pearl Vigor Blue.” The paint is a pearlescent color with a blue candy coat applied, creating a deep luster and a metallic pearl glow that changes depending on the angle of the light. The wheels are also painted the same color, and the frame is black. Another new color is “Old Gray Metallic,” a light gray with a slight reddish tint that matches well with the chrome parts. The frame and wheels are painted bronze, creating a chic yet glamorous impression. The other color is “Candy Darling Red,” carried over from last year’s model, and the frame and wheels are also bronze. The deep candy red makes a strong statement. The “Glass Pearl Black,” which was available until last year’s model, has been discontinued.
“Candy Darling Red” will continue to be included in the lineup from the 2024 model.
Sales will begin on November 8th, with the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 1.65 million yen.
The 2025 model of the Katana was also announced at the same time. The new blue Katana, which attracted attention at the Katana Meeting 2024 held in September when Suzuki Motor Corporation President and CEO Toshihiro Suzuki rode it at the venue, was officially unveiled. The model unveiled at the GSX-S/R Meeting 2024 is a deep candy blue finish, “Pearl Bigger Blue,” similar to the GSX-S1000GT, with bronze wheels. This is a stark departure from the matte navy “Matte Stella Blue Metallic” previously available, and represents a significant shift from the Katana’s traditional image. Incidentally, “Matte Stella Blue Metallic” will be discontinued. The other color, “Mystic Silver Metallic,” will remain, but the wheels have been changed from the previous bronze to the orange metallic used with the Matte Stella Blue Metallic. This marks a slightly more active change from the previous subdued impression. Also noteworthy is the change in the tail cowl from the previous black to navy. Is this an homage to the classic Katana?
The long-rumored “Seito” finally makes its official debut. It shines purple metallic depending on the angle of the light.

The Mystic Silver Metallic model has orange metallic wheels.
Sales will begin on October 29th, with the manufacturer’s retail price set at 1,661,000 yen.
