Harley-Davidson Japan Co., Ltd. has unveiled the special edition “Edition 1” of the all-new Road Glide (ROAD GLIDE®/photo left) and Street Glide (STREET GLIDE®/photo right) models added to the 2024 Harley-Davidson model line, with a limited run of 90 units available in Japan starting today. The suggested retail price (including consumption tax) starts at 4,045,591 yen.

The Road Glide and Street Glide, which have been completely redesigned for the 2024 model year, feature an evolved fairing profile that combines a dynamic flow from the front fender to the saddlebags. While inheriting Harley-Davidson’s design DNA, the bikes offer a refreshing and modern look, and the suspension is available in a choice of black finish (photo) or chrome finish.

This premium, limited-edition “Edition 1” model features a vivid black base color with dynamic stripe decals (white and red), complemented by a mid-frame air deflector for an ultimate sporty look. The enhanced Rockford Fosgate sound system (amp + STAGE 2 speakers) complements the all-new Road Glide/Street Glide, combining racing-inspired styling with touring comfort. For the

2024 Road Glide and Street Glide models, a 12.3-inch TFT color touchscreen replaces the traditional analog meters and switches. The revamped Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-twin engine features a new cooling system to further optimize thermal comfort for the rider. Selectable riding modes (Road, Sport, Rain, and Custom) allow riders to electronically adjust performance characteristics based on road conditions and personal preference.

Updated aerodynamics improve rider comfort, reducing helmet buffeting at high speeds by an average of 60% compared to the previous model. The rear suspension travel has also been increased to 3 inches, and the newly designed one-piece seat shape and padding material have significantly improved rider comfort during long rides.
