Indian Motorcycle SCOUT SIXTY

The revived Scout Sixty series features distinctive American design and a legendary balance of power and control at an affordable price.

The Indian Scout is the foundation and most successful model of the Indian Motorcycle family. This year, we introduced the new 2025 Indian Scout and the SpeedPlus engine. We’re also ready to reintroduce the Scout Sixty to our international lineup after a temporary hiatus due to tightening emissions regulations.

The Scout boasts an iconic design, with over 90% of buyers being new. With its lightweight, easy-to-handle design and low seat height, approximately one-quarter of buyers are new to riding. The new Scout Sixty broadens its appeal by offering timeless American style, balance, and control at a more affordable price point.

Universal Accessibility

The new Indian Scout Sixty is one of Indian Motorcycle’s most approachable models, available at a price point that allows more riders to share its valued story.

Its class-leading low seat height allows riders of all sizes and experience levels to ride with confidence. Additionally, its low center of gravity keeps the bike nimble, even with the kickstand up, for excellent low-speed maneuverability.

Standard mid-controls, standard across the entire lineup, keep the rider’s feet firmly planted on the ground for easier, more controlled riding.

ABS is standard on all models, while traction control and ride modes are available on the Limited model. They are available as options on the Standard model. And, like all Indian Motorcycle models, the Scout Sixty’s ride modes—Sport, Standard, and Rain—offer three distinct throttle responses to suit different riding styles and road conditions.

With its timeless American style and legendary balance and control, the Scout Sixty is accessible to a wider range of riders.

Iconic American Design

Timeless style and perfect proportions are hallmarks of the Indian Scout. The new Scout Sixty’s tubular steel frame embodies this classic style, resulting in a simple, sophisticated design. Customization is also available. Like all Indian Motorcycle models, the Scout Sixty offers superior American craftsmanship and a class-leading fit that sets it apart from the competition.

A new model has been added to the legendary Indian Scout series. Indian Motorcycle unveils the fully redesigned Scout Sixty platform. The 2025 Scout Sixty family includes two models for Japan: the Scout Sixty Bobber and the Scout Sixty Classic, each with different specifications. Designed for easy handling by anyone, they feature iconic American design, legendary power, and excellent control balance.

Unparalleled style

Between 1914 and 1918, Indian Motorcycle Company founder George Hendee expanded Indian Motorcycle’s Springfield production facility, building the world’s most modern motorcycle manufacturing facility. Skilled craftsmen hand-assembled each motorcycle with meticulous attention to detail. In addition to Indian Motorcycle’s distinctive red paint, which debuted in 1904, Springfield Blue was also used as an iconic brand color during this era. Continuing

this tradition, the new Roadmaster Elite features a premium Candy finish and a three-tone signature paint scheme. The Indian Motorcycle Springfield Blue Candy with Black Candy Fade and Silver accents complement the headdress tank logo, outlined in Champion Gold. The striking paint package is completed with exclusive Elite graphics and hand-painted gold pinstriping. The premium chrome finish shines from front to rear, elevating classic craftsmanship. To further enhance its exclusivity, each Roadmaster Elite features a numbered “Elite” badge.

Rider-focused technology

The Roadmaster Elite is loaded with premium rider-focused technology to match its premium styling. Standard equipment includes Indian Motorcycle’s PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost, which delivers richer bass than the Roadmaster’s standard sound system with 12 speakers located in the front fairing, side bags and touring trunk. The PowerBand audio system is controlled via the Ride Command 146mm touchscreen display. This infotainment system also offers Bluetooth connectivity, bike status monitoring, Apple CarPlay® and Ride Command.

The legendary Thunderstroke engine

Powering the Roadmaster Elite is an air-cooled, V-twin Thunderstroke 116 engine, which delivers ample passing power in all gears and 171Nm of torque. It also features three riding modes (Tour, Standard, and Sport) that allow riders to tailor the throttle response to their preferences and customize the bike to suit their riding style.

Luxury Comfort

From day trips to weekend getaways to long highway journeys, you can enjoy it all. Indian Motorcycle designed the 2025 Roadmaster Elite with unparalleled luxury and comfort. The bike features a new heated and cooled two-person seat for superior comfort for both rider and passenger. Graphene material optimizes heating and cooling distribution while maintaining a comfortable ride. Additionally, the 2025 Roadmaster Elite also comes standard with spacious floorboards and a passenger armrest.

The adjustable flared windshield offers custom style and luxurious comfort. A handlebar-mounted switch allows the windshield to be raised or lowered up to 10 cm, adjusting the shield height depending on wind strength. This allows you to control the amount of wind hitting your face and helmet to your liking. Finally, the

2025 Roadmaster Elite is equipped with remote-locking saddlebags and a tour trunk. This convenient feature allows you to safely store your belongings with the push of a button on the console or key fob.

INDIAN SPRINGFIELD SPECIAL EDITION

The Thunder Stroke air-cooled V-twin engine
is a true

expression of American motorcycle tradition.

The V-shaped cylinder arrangement creates an iconic visual and a unique, unforgettable rhythmic sound. And the narrow-angle V-twin layout offers a unique ride feel. The V-twin engine, while classic yet perfectly suited to the motorcycle package, has captivated enthusiasts throughout the ages.

Before we knew it, Indian Motorcycle was the only brand still producing classic air-cooled V-twin engines. Continuing to produce air-cooled V-twin engines amid increasingly stringent environmental regulations is no easy feat. If you’ve ever been a lover of American V-twin engines, you understand this better than anyone. It’s with a touch of sadness.

The Indian Springfield, Indian Chief, Indian Chieftain, and Indian Roadmaster are modern cruisers powered by air-cooled V-twin engines in this day and age. The Springfield and Chief even lack an oil cooler, making them “pure air-cooled V-twin” models. How is this possible?

In this day and age, air-cooled engines simply can’t be built on mere stubborn desire. Cutting-edge technology is essential to creating an air-cooled American V-twin that is both environmentally friendly and rider-satisfying. Since its founding, Indian Motorcycle has been at the pinnacle of American motorsports in every era, exploring the possibilities of every V-twin engine, from air-cooled to water-cooled, through a variety of innovations, making it possible for the company to achieve this. Innovation lies hidden within classic style. That is pure air-cooling.

The rounded cylinder head evokes the days of side valves. The cylinders feature deep, polished, beautifully aligned air-cooling fins, and the pushrod towers command a bold presence. The crankcase, with its beautiful curves reminiscent of classic models, extends all the way to the bottom end. The exquisite design, meticulously crafted down to every bolt, skillfully draws the viewer’s attention and captivates.

It’s no exaggeration to say that Indian Motorcycle’s air-cooled V-twin has reached the pinnacle of industrial perfection. While expressing its history, it now confronts you with a look befitting the modern era. This is not simply a V-twin for nostalgia. The air-cooled V-twin we present today is nothing less than the product we once created and nurtured in pursuit of the ideal of the American motorcycle.

The sound this air-cooled American V-twin produces is also a delight. The output from the large crankshaft flows from the camshaft to the pushrods…the emotional sound and pleasant vibrations make it seem as if you can touch each and every OHV mechanism. All of this is generated by your right hand gripping the throttle. The unique feeling that an air-cooled OHV engine brings. It’s difficult to fully understand its essence without experiencing it at least once.

The 1,890cc OHV engine we call the “Air-Cooled Thunderstroke 116” produces a maximum torque of 171 Nm at just 3,000 rpm. By utilizing precise electronic controls to maximize the advantages of the air-cooled V-twin, we’ve achieved a superior ride feel that could be called the optimal solution for a modern air-cooled V-twin.

The sound is mellow and even gentle from the moment you open the throttle, and the torque feel unique to V-twin engines grows richer in response. With each twist of your right hand, that richness and power envelops your entire body. Once the bike is up to speed, gently close the throttle, shift up a gear, and twist your right hand again. Pursuing that sweet moment that only an air-cooled V-twin can offer, and continuing to experience it over and over, you’ll continue riding to the very edge of the earth.

You suddenly stop the engine and take a breather beside your beloved bike. The pulse of the air-cooled V-twin that you had just enjoyed with your entire body still trembles subtly. The still-heated engine’s beautiful appearance will gently soothe your excited heart. In the silence, the only sound you can hear is the faint metallic clang of the air-cooled fins emitting a dull glow. But by the time that sound stops, you’ll surely be craving driving again.

There are many different engines in the world of motorcycles. But what is the true, pure, air-cooled V-twin that continues to weave the American spirit?

There is only one: Indian Motorcycle.

(*1) Indian Motorcycle manufactured its first V-twin factory race bike in 1906, and the 39-ci (633cc), 42-degree V-twin introduced to the commercial model in 1907 became America’s first mass-produced V-twin motorcycle engine.
