GIVI is an Italian brand founded in 1978 by Giuseppe Visenzi. The company name comes from the initials of the founder’s name. Giuseppe Visenzi was a former World GP (now MotoGP) rider who finished third in the 350cc class before starting his career as an entrepreneur.
He has fully applied his passion and experience for racing to the planning, development and production of motorcycle accessories, and has now established a global presence in both name and reality, with support in over 70 countries around the world, including Europe and Japan, as well as North and South America and various Asian countries.
GIVI has developed a system-type carbon helmet, which is not only practical but also features a sporty design and functionality that takes into account aerodynamic characteristics.

The “X5” system helmet is made from carbon fiber, which is lightweight, strong, and resistant to heat.

This highly practical system features a sporty design with excellent aerodynamics when used as a full-face helmet. It smoothly deflects the wind from the front, even when riding at high speeds, ensuring comfort. It is also ideal for large-displacement sports bikes.

The helmet features a ventilation system that ensures smooth intake and exhaust. Large intake vents and a spoiler system on the front, top and chin guard. Exhaust vents are integrated directly into the intake vents at the rear of the helmet.

The color design is available in two colors that emphasize the texture of carbon fiber. The color with gold stripes (pictured) has a very elegant finish. In addition to carbon, there is also a luxurious carbon graphic (composite fiber version) with a wide range of color variations.

It uses a flip-up system that can be converted into a jet type by lifting the chin.
At EICMA 2024, the prestigious Italian brand GIVI announced the X5 system helmet, a flip-up type (an innovative type that becomes jet-shaped when the chin section is raised) with a carbon fiber shell.
The key point is that using carbon fiber as a material brings about various benefits, such as lightness (lightweight, so there is less fatigue while driving), insulation (less stuffiness), and durability (resistance to impacts in the event of a collision). Carbon fiber is also used for the chin guard.
The X5 is a highly practical system, but when worn as a full-face helmet with the chin lowered, it has a sporty design with excellent aerodynamics. Even when riding at high speeds, it smoothly channels the airflow from the front, maintaining comfort. It is also suitable for large-displacement sports bikes.
Inside the helmet, there’s a smoked sun visor (which can be adjusted up or down) that protects your eyes from strong sunlight, as well as a scratch-resistant main visor that’s set up for the Pinlock® Max Vision lens (included). The interior of the helmet also has space for the temples of your glasses (both frames) to ensure proper visibility and a comfortable fit.
The chin strap features a micrometer-adjustable stainless steel clasp. The ventilation system ensures smooth air intake and exhaust with large intake and spoiler vents on the front, top and chin guard. Exhaust vents at the rear of the helmet are directly integrated into each intake vent.
