The distinctive front fork with a long bottom case is about 2 inches (approximately 50 mm) longer than the standard, and the upper and lower stems are machined to fit the fork.
The front end, which has been rid of the front brake, is fitted with a dish wheel. The rear end has been made rigid to lower the vehicle height to the maximum extent possible, and the fuel tank and seat have been minimally arranged through extensive modifications such as relocating the fuel pump and battery. The handlebars and seat have been set in a tight position to ensure they can reliably contain the high-powered machine.
Chirihama Sand Flats, a team that has produced numerous winning machines in the beach drag races at Chirihama in Ishikawa Prefecture and is a leader in the local scene, has created an R12 custom that effectively modifies the basic frame of the car, proposing new possibilities for the R12. It has also been finished into a bike with a one-of-a-kind presence in terms of both functionality and style.
