High-precision aluminum parts enhance the neo-classical feel
Speaking of 4MINIs that can be enjoyed casually with 12-inch wheels, there’s the Dax 125, which is equipped with the same automatic centrifugal clutch as the Cub series. Its cute form is popular with women, and the long seat that makes it easy to ride pillion is very useful for everyday use.
OVER Racing Projects (hereafter referred to as OVER) has customized this Dax 125 with authentic parts forged through racing. When you think of racing, titanium and carbon materials come to mind, but OVER aimed to preserve the neo-classic feel of the Dax. Lightweight, highly rigid aluminum material is carefully machined to create a silhouette reminiscent of the air-cooled customizations of the past.
Twin shock PHASE2 (224,400 yen) developed in collaboration with Aragosta. Compression damping force can be adjusted separately for low and high speeds.
Speaking of OVER, this muffler design comes to mind! The Sesmic MINI down muffler (69,300 yen) is the ultimate in neo-classical style.
The aluminum down tube (47,300 yen) uses ribbed 7N01 aluminum square pipe material. The engine slider is currently under development.
The key visual is the Sesmic MINI down muffler, which allows for a dramatic change in image from the genuine up muffler. The aluminum silencer design, inherited from the heyday of replicas, is a very OVER-like identity. If you’re particular about an up muffler, the impressive-sized SSE Megaphone up muffler has also been released, so be sure to check it out.
It comes equipped with a semi-floating disc and a caliper support for Kani Brembo, both made in collaboration with Sunstar. The set price is 46,750 yen.
This frame carrier (19,800 yen) is made of A5083 aluminum. In addition to black anodized aluminum, you can also choose silver anodized aluminum.
The rear carrier currently under development has the same design as the frame carrier and can handle heavy loads. The fender eliminator kit (31,900 yen) also has a high-quality feel.
Speaking of eye-catching parts, the shine of the aluminum down tube and swing arm is quite striking. If you choose silver rearsets and wheels to be installed, it will give off an even more mechanical feel.
