TOPIC 1
Six new cruisers with major performance and technology updates
Harley-Davidson’s iconic cruiser category will feature six models equipped with three different Milwaukee-Eight® 117 powertrains (Classic, Custom, and High Output, all 1923cc displacement), each with a different flavor. They all share
the Softail chassis with a redesigned monoshock rear suspension, and feature the latest technology, including displays and a variety of ride modes. This diverse styling, from nostalgic to high-performance and bold customization, will allow any rider to express their individuality. The Softail
Milwaukee-Eight® 117 Classic engine (156 Nm of torque/91 hp) delivers the classic cruiser feel with the latest technology, and the Street Bob, popular among Japanese riders as a stylish bobber, and the Heritage Classic, which combines vintage details with rock ‘n’ roll style, are both equipped with the Softail Milwaukee-Eight® 117 Classic engine (156 Nm of torque/91 hp).
The Breakout, a modern chopper with an extra-thick rear tire, and the Fat Boy (center photo), the original and iconic fat custom, are equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 Custom engine (torque 168 Nm / horsepower 103 hp), breaking new ground in custom cruisers.
The Milwaukee-Eight® 117 HIGH OUTPUT engine (torque 173 Nm / horsepower 114 hp), which elevates the sporty riding feel to a torquey cruiser, is installed in the factory custom cruiser Lowrider S and its performance bagger custom Lowrider ST. The Lowrider ST now offers a choice of chrome or black trim finishes, further expanding the styling options.
