Equipped with a 750cc parallel twin engine

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will release the large sports model “CB750 HORNET” on February 13, 2025. The price is 1,039,500 yen including tax. It will be available in two color variations: silver and black.
The powertrain is a 754cc water-cooled inline 2-cylinder SOHC engine (using Unicam). It produces a maximum output of 67kW (91ps) and a maximum torque of 75Nm (7.6kgm). It combines ease of handling in the low and mid-speed range with sportiness in the high-speed range. It also features an assist and slipper clutch to reduce clutch operation. The transmission is a 6-speed manual.
The body is made of a lightweight diamond frame, and the Showa SFF-BP inverted fork and Pro-Link rear suspension ensure stable riding.
In terms of equipment, it is equipped with a 5-inch full-color TFT meter and is also compatible with the smartphone connection function “Honda RoadSync.”
It also comes with advanced features such as power mode switching, HSTC (traction control), and auto-canceling turn signals.
Although it has already been announced overseas, the younger brother of the “CB1000 Hornet” has now been introduced in Japan. While the Hornet 1000 has a high-powered 4-cylinder engine, the Hornet 750 uses a 2-cylinder engine that is easy to handle from a practical standpoint. Although the engine displacement is similar, it seems that the two models have distinct personalities.
