Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda) released a new model of its light motorcycle cruiser, the Rebel 250, on January 30th. It also has a new model equipped with the E-Clutch, which will be released on March 13th. The standard model is priced at 693,000 yen (tax included), while the version equipped with the E-Clutch is priced at 731,500 yen (tax included).
The version with E-Clutch will be released in March

This is a minor change for the 2025 model. The handlebar shape has been revised to optimize the riding position, and comfort has been improved by changing the material inside the seat.
Of particular note is the inclusion of the Honda E-Clutch, a mechanism that automates the clutch that was previously operated manually when starting, shifting gears, and stopping, while retaining the traditional lever, allowing the rider to manually operate the lever as desired.

Vehicle weight is around 170kg

The specifications are as follows: length 2205mm, width 810mm, height 1090mm, seat height 690mm, vehicle weight 171kg for the Rebel 250, 174kg for the Rebel 250 E-Clutch, and 175kg for the Rebel 250 S Edition E-Clutch.
The engine is a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, single-cylinder, producing a maximum output of 19kW (26PS) at 9,500rpm and a maximum torque of 22N・m (2.2kgf・m) at 6,500rpm.
The colors available are Matte Dim Gray Metallic for the Rebel 250, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Matte Fresco Brown for the E-Clutch, and Pearl Shining Black and Pearl Cadet Gray for the S Edition E-Clutch.
Genuine options include an ETC onboard unit and grip heaters.

The Rebel 250 is a great bike that has attracted many female riders. The adoption of the E-Clutch, which further improves comfort, is a good idea and will be helpful for riders who are not confident in their grip strength. The conventional mechanisms, including the clutch lever, remain, so if you feel uncomfortable, you can simply operate it in full manual mode.
