Motorist LLC (Ota-ku, Tokyo), the exclusive Japanese distributor of Italian manufacturer FANTIC MOTOR SPA, will gradually introduce FANTIC’s first full-scale street sports series starting in 2025. These models are the latest machines unveiled at EICMA (International Motorcycle Show) held in Milan, Italy in November 2024. The lineup will feature two engine and two body styles, and will begin with the 125cc class, which is popular in the European market. Production will also begin simultaneously for the Japanese market, and the models will be made available at authorized domestic dealerships in due course. Reservations have already begun, with deliveries expected to begin as early as March.
The street model that Fantic unveiled at EICMA is a symbol of a new era for the brand. The GT50 was released in the 1970s and has a history of exciting young racers. With a lightweight body weighing just 66.3 kg and a 6-speed transmission, the GT50 took the world by storm with performance that was hard to believe for a 50cc. The newly announced “STEALTH” inherits that spirit and refines it with modern technology.

The prototype will be unveiled at EICMA in 2023, with the production model debuting the following year in 2024. Fantic’s first full-scale street supersport, the “STEALTH,” will be equipped with two engines: 125cc and 500cc. The first model to hit the market will be the “STEALTH 125,” equipped with a Minarelli 4-stroke 125cc engine.
The MM125 engine is the latest unit that complies with EURO-5+ regulations. It has been tuned to maximize riding enjoyment, including an exhaust system that utilizes know-how gained from competing in MotoGP (MOTO-2). The water-cooled 124.66cc MM125 is a high-performance engine that is popular with small European manufacturers, and is also supplied to manufacturers such as BETA, SHERCO, RIEJU, and VENT. Fantic has utilized the strengths of its group companies to create a unique setting for the MM125, achieving both smooth power characteristics and excellent fuel efficiency that are hard to believe for a 125cc.
The STEALTH frame is a compact design that combines a machined aluminum frame plate with a main frame that combines chromoly steel pipes in a truss shape. The air box is located at the front and the fuel tank in the center, achieving mass centralization. This results in light and controllable handling, allowing you to experience the “fun of maneuvering” that is characteristic of FANTIC.
It is a bike that will satisfy not only young riders looking for a 125cc class bike, but also veteran riders who know the appeal of the small class.
Production of the STEALTH 125 has already begun, and in Japan, Fantic authorized dealers are accepting reservations. If you make an early reservation, delivery may be possible as early as March. In addition, Motorist, the official distributor, is planning a test ride event focusing on the STEALTH 125. The event will be held at Fantic dealers nationwide, so riders who want to try out the actual bike should check the latest information on official social media.
