BMW Motorrad has announced the new models of the BMW F 900 R and BMW F 900 XR. Prices start from 1,279,000 yen (tax included) for the F 900 R and 1,537,000 yen for the F900XR.
Easy to ride, unique to the middle class
The F900 series is a mid-class model that aims to provide excellent driving performance and a comfortable riding experience. The F900R is a roadster type, while the F900XR is an adventure-oriented model, each with a different riding style.
The new model is equipped with an improved 895cc in-line twin-cylinder engine, with output increased to 105ps (77kW). It achieves more powerful acceleration and excellent torque, providing riders with comfort and dynamic sportiness. It also features an emotional sound, and a sports silencer developed in collaboration with Akrapovic is available as an accessory.
Generous electronic control
Both models come standard with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and ABS Pro, enhancing safety and riding performance. DTC is a system that supports rider safety on low-grip surfaces and in changing riding conditions, while Dynamic Brake Control has also been added to improve stability during braking.
The body of the vehicle is lighter than the previous model across the series, and changes to the wheels in particular have been effective in reducing the weight by approximately 1.8 kg. This has improved the vehicle’s handling and maneuverability, allowing for a more dynamic and comfortable ride.
This could be an attractive option, as it embodies BMW’s technology and design.
