Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda) has changed the color scheme of its two-stroke scooters, the Dio 110 and the Dio 110 Basic, and will release them on March 6th. The Dio 110 is priced at 286,000 yen (tax included) and the Dio 110 Basic at 250,800 yen (tax included).
Trendy matte black finish
The Dio 110 now comes in a new Matte Galaxy Black Metallic finish. Red accents are added to the rear carrier, the vehicle name emblem, and the front HONDA mark, creating a high-quality, sporty impression.
The Dio 110 Basic will be available in two new colors: Night Tide Blue Metallic and Pearl Snowflake White. Together with the existing Matte Galaxy Black Metallic, the total will be three colors.
All models in the series are equipped with a full range of features that take daily use into consideration, such as an inner box for storing small items, a luggage box under the seat, and a side stand that is convenient when parking. The Dio110 in particular comes standard with the Honda SMART Key system, further enhancing convenience.
The body dimensions are 1,870mm long, 685mm wide, 1,100mm high, with a wheelbase of 1,255mm, ground clearance of 150mm, seat height of 760mm, and vehicle weight of 96kg.
The engine is a 109cc air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder, producing a maximum output of 6.4kW (8.7PS) at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 9.0N・m (0.92kgm) at 5,750rpm. The fuel tank capacity is 4.9L, and the fuel consumption rate is 59.4km/L (60km/h constant speed test value, with two occupants) and 55.6km/L (WMTC mode value, class 1, with one occupant).
The Dio110 series has been popular with a wide range of users thanks to its stylish design and excellent practicality. With this latest color change, the lineup now caters to an even more diverse range of needs.
