Honda has made some exterior changes and enhanced equipment to its large sports models, the NC750X and NC750X Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and released them on February 10, 2025. The standard model is priced at 997,000 yen (tax included), while the Dual Clutch Transmission model is priced at 1,069,200 yen (tax included).
This model change has resulted in a completely new design around the front, giving it a sharper impression. Furthermore, the environmentally friendly bio-engineered plastic “DURABIO™” is used for the windscreen and parts of the exterior. Also, recycled materials used for parts of the exterior include discarded Honda automobile bumpers collected from dealerships and surplus resin generated during the manufacturing process of automobiles and home appliances, contributing to resource conservation and reducing CO₂ emissions in the manufacturing process.
On the body side, newly designed wheels are used, and a rigidity balance is pursued that achieves both lightness, comfort, and the fun of handling. This also contributes to the weight reduction of the body. The front brake uses a double disc, providing a braking force that gives a sense of security.
In terms of equipment, a 5-inch full-color TFT meter and multi-function switches have been introduced to improve visibility and operability. Furthermore, the smartphone linkage system “Honda RoadSync” is standard equipment, enhancing convenience. The DCT-spec “NC750X Dual Clutch Transmission” has updated DCT hydraulic control to achieve more natural throttle response and smoother gear changes.
The color variations for the manual transmission “NC750X” are the stylish and calm “Matte Deep Mud Gray,” while the DCT “NC750X Dual Clutch Transmission” is available in three colors: the active “Fighting Red,” the sporty and bold “Eco Black R,” and “Matte Deep Mud Gray.”
The “NC750X” series has been well received by a wide range of users thanks to its easy-to-handle low-center-of-gravity body design, its in-line 2-cylinder 745cc engine with excellent environmental performance, and its user-friendly luggage storage. With this model change, the design and equipment have been improved, making it an even more attractive model.
The NC750X features crossover styling that is suitable for a wide range of uses, from everyday city riding to touring. It also combines sporty riding performance with a comfortable ride, making it a model that meets the diverse needs of riders.
The NC750X Dual Clutch Transmission is equipped with Honda’s unique DCT, which allows for smooth gear changes without clutch operation, providing a comfortable ride on long-distance touring and in urban areas.
Furthermore, this model change employs a throttle-by-wire system (TBW) as an electronic control technology to support the rider, and is equipped with riding modes that allow the rider to select the riding feel according to their preferences and riding situations.
The newly designed frame is lighter while still supporting improved power performance, resulting in more agile maneuverability. It also contributes to improved convenience, such as by expanding the capacity of the luggage box.
When the first generation NC700X was released, it stood out for its low price, but in the latest model, this feature has been completely toned down and it has evolved into a premium crossover. However, its high value remains a feature that has not changed, and it is likely to continue to be popular in the future.
