New colors available for both standard and DE models

New colors have been added to the V-Strom 1050, including Oort Gray Metallic No. 3, Matte Black Metallic No. 2, and Matte Steel Green Metallic. The V-Strom 1050DE now comes in a wider range of colors, including Champion Yellow No. 2 and Pearl Tech White.
In addition, a monitoring function for catalyst deterioration has been added to the on-board diagnostic system (OBD II), enabling more accurate fault diagnosis.

A standard vehicle that can be used in a wide range of situations

The V-Strom 1050 offers comfortable riding in any touring situation, from city streets to highways and mountain roads, and its performance and design have evolved from previous models.
The powertrain is a 1036cc water-cooled, 4-stroke, V-twin, DOHC, 4-valve engine. While maintaining torque in the low and mid-range, it has a powerful high-speed range, achieving characteristics more reminiscent of a V-twin engine. This engine combines the comfort and riding performance required for touring, providing stable performance even over long distances.
It also comes equipped with Suzuki’s unique SIRS (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System), which significantly improves ease of use for the rider, including a Motion Track Brake System based on data from the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and a bidirectional quick shift system that allows for up- and down-shifting without clutch or throttle operation.
Furthermore, the bike is equipped with a 5-inch color TFT LCD meter, which allows the rider to easily check the information they need while riding. This meter not only displays SIRS setting information, but also navigation, audio, and riding information, improving convenience even on long-distance touring.
The styling is a modern take on the beak design that inherits the DNA of Suzuki’s first adventure tourer, the DR-BIG, which was released in 1988, giving it an original impression. A height-adjustable windscreen and tapered aluminum handlebars come as standard, further enhancing riding comfort.
The car is equipped with Bridgestone’s BATTLAX ADVENTURE A41 radial tires, with a combination of 110/80R19 in the front and 150/70R17 in the rear, providing high comfort and an exhilarating ride.
DE with improved off-road performance

The V-Strom 1050DE is equipped with a dedicated G-mode traction control system to further enhance driving stability on unpaved roads. It also features a large 21-inch front wheel with semi-block pattern tires for improved off-road performance.
Furthermore, the handlebars are 20mm wider on both sides than the standard model, improving shock absorption. The model is also equipped with an accessory bar and an aluminum engine protector, improving both appearance and practicality.
With this, Suzuki aims to further enhance the appeal of the V-STROM 1050 series and make it appealing to a wider range of riders. The V-STROM 1050 and V-STROM 1050DE are bikes that combine tough riding performance with comfortable touring capabilities, making them ideal choices for touring riders.
