Inspiring performance and sophisticated design
The Z900 SE is a model that mounts a 948cm3 in-line 4-cylinder engine in a lightweight frame, and is designed to deliver exciting power and handling, as well as smooth response without compromise. Inheriting Kawasaki’s traditional packaging, it achieves a high level of balance between power and handling.
The exterior adopts the sophisticated new “Sugomi” design. The sharp, edgy styling is effectively combined with metal parts to create an impression of the sharp performance hidden within. It inherits the Z series’ distinctive features of “low stance,” “low-positioned head,” and “raised tail,” resulting in a cutting-edge body shape and dynamic crouching form.
High-grade suspension and latest electronic control
To achieve both luxury and performance, the Z900 SE is equipped with Brembo brakes and an Ohlins rear suspension.Furthermore, Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires are used on both the front and rear, which contribute to improved cornering performance, providing agile handling in all situations, from street riding to mountain passes and touring.
The engine is now equipped with an electronically controlled throttle valve and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), which not only achieves sharp throttle response but also makes it possible to equip the bike with advanced riding support technologies such as KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) and electric cruise control.
Smart Features and Navigation
The Z900 SE is packed with new features to enhance rider convenience. It features a 5-inch full-digital TFT color instrument panel, which combines advanced technology with a high-quality feel. It also features Kawasaki’s first turn-by-turn navigation system, which is linked to the smartphone app “RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE.” The instrument panel concisely displays the direction and distance of intersections and forks, improving both touring performance and convenience.
It can also be operated using voice commands from a smartphone app, allowing you to safely use various functions while riding.

*1: Fuel consumption rates are values under specified test conditions. Actual results may vary depending on various factors, such as the customer’s environment (weather, traffic congestion, etc.), driving method, vehicle condition (equipment, specifications), and maintenance status.
*2: Stationary fuel consumption values are fuel consumption rates based on actual measurements taken at a constant vehicle speed.
*3: WMTC mode values are calculated values based on the results of exhaust gas tests measured in a driving mode that is an international standard and includes starting, accelerating, and stopping. Driving mode classes are classified by engine displacement and maximum speed.
