Design that anticipates city use
Tool manufacturer KTC (Kyoto Machine Tools) has collaborated with riding gear manufacturer KUSHITANI to release new “waist bags” and “hip bags.”
KUSHITANI is a leading Japanese brand that produces high-quality motorcycle racing suits and bags, and for this collaboration, two of the company’s popular bags have been given an original KTC design.
These bags maintain the functional specifications of KUSHITANI, but feature the KTC logo printed on them and the company’s red color as an accent, making them suitable for both touring and city use.
The “waist bag” is compact yet highly functional, with a large zipper pull that makes it easy to open and close even while wearing gloves. It’s also made from durable materials that are also used in military equipment, making it a tough bag you can rely on even in harsh environments. It measures approximately 105mm high x 240mm wide x 120mm deep (approximately 3.0L) and retails for 12,100 yen (tax included).
On the other hand, the “hip bag” has a large capacity, with a large enough main compartment and a pocket on the side that can hold a water bottle. It can be worn not only around the waist as a waist bag, but also across the body as a crossbody bag, allowing you to change the look of your style by changing the way you wear it. Furthermore, by changing the attached strap, it can also be used as a shoulder bag or backpack. It measures approximately 215mm high x 270mm wide x 90mm deep (approximately 5.2L) and is priced at 14,960 yen (tax included).
These collaboration items are on sale at the KTC official shop, and other items to support the motorcycle lifestyle, such as jackets and rider’s gloves, are also currently being developed.
