Yamaha XMAX ABS… 737,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)
Yamaha’s popular sports scooter, the XMAX ABS, has undergone a minor change and will be released with new appeal. The 2025 model features a refined design and practical functional enhancements.
The 2025 model combines lightweight design with advanced features
The main features of the 2025 model are the muffler with a revised internal structure that is 800g lighter than the 2023 model, and the stylish muffler protector cover. It also comes equipped with an electric windscreen for increased comfort.
Also noteworthy is the adoption of an all-in-one meter (smoked lens) with a 4.2-inch TFT and a 3.2-inch LCD arranged side by side. This advanced meter panel allows for a more intuitive understanding of driving information.
Express your individuality with three color variations
There are three colors in the lineup, each with its own unique personality.
The “black” finish creates a bold and manly look with a contrast to the gloss black bodywork, which uses luxurious “crystal graphite” for the boomerang, leg shield cover, front cover, handlebar cover, and muffler cover.
The “matt dark gray” finish is accented with blue wheels and graphics, evoking sporty performance.
And the “gray” has an inorganic and modern impression that matches the higher-end model “TMAX.”
These three color variations allow riders to choose the one that suits their personality and preferences.
A design that inherits the lineage of the MAX series
The “XMAX ABS” features styling that strongly inherits the image of the “MAX series,” such as a twin headlamp and side covers with a skeleton motif. On top of that, it has a good balance of light riding performance, comfort, and practical functionality, making it a popular model that has garnered support from many riders.
The engine is equipped with a power unit developed based on Yamaha’s unique “BLUE CORE” concept. It achieves a high level of balance between “fun to ride” and “fuel economy and environmental performance.” BLUE CORE is an engine design concept that focuses on three points: highly efficient combustion, excellent cooling performance, and reduced loss to achieve performance.
The 2025 model “XMAX ABS” has evolved into a model that combines more sophisticated styling and practicality while retaining the fun of riding as a sports scooter. It will be an attractive option for riders looking for a sports scooter.
*BLUE CORE: Since 2014, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has promoted “BLUE CORE” as an engine design concept that realizes both “fun to ride” and “fuel economy and environmental performance” at a high level. This concept aims to achieve performance by focusing on three points: highly efficient combustion, excellent cooling performance, and reduced loss, and the engine of the “XMAX ABS” was also developed based on this “BLUE CORE” concept. *1 Fuel consumption rates are values under specified test conditions. They may vary depending on various conditions, such as the customer’s usage environment (weather, traffic congestion, etc.), driving method, vehicle condition (equipment, specifications), and maintenance status.
*2 Steady-state fuel consumption values are fuel consumption rates based on actual measurements when driving at a constant vehicle speed. *3 WMTC mode values are calculated based on the results of exhaust gas tests measured in a driving mode that is an international standard and includes starting, accelerating, and stopping. Driving mode classes are classified by engine displacement and top speed.
