Suzuki has updated the color scheme of the Gixxer, which will be released in March. This sporty 150cc class road sports bike has been gaining popularity among young people since its release in Japan in 2017, and now it is available in a new color variation. The price is 385,000 yen (tax included).
Styling that inherits the lineage of large sports bikes

The Gixxer is a 150cc road sports model that shares a sporty styling image with Suzuki’s large sports bikes. It incorporates European design trends and has attractive proportions with the cowl condensed towards the center of the body.
The sense of unity from the headlight to the tank, and the accentuated design created by the voluminous tank and slim front and rear split seat create a sophisticated impression. In addition to the powerfully shaped fuel tank and shroud, the adoption of a compact, slim LED headlamp and swingarm-mounted rear fender emphasizes the sporty impression.
The 2025 model will be released in March and will come in three different colors.

Fully equipped and attractive functionality
The Gixxer is equipped with a highly visible, fully digital LCD multi-function meter. It is equipped with an RPM indicator that lights up or flashes when the engine rpm reaches a preset value, letting you know when it’s time to shift gears, and a gear position indicator that lets you know the gear position at a glance.
It also comes with a convenient clock, a switchable odometer/twin trip meter, and an oil change indicator that lets you know when it’s time to change the oil.
In terms of safety, the bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes (266mm front, 220mm rear) with ABS as standard. The rear tire is equipped with a 140 size radial tire. Another feature is the large-capacity 12L fuel tank, which is safe for long-distance driving.
Powerful acceleration and excellent fuel economy
The Gixxer’s engine reduces friction and improves combustion efficiency, achieving both powerful acceleration from low speeds and excellent fuel economy. It delivers a maximum output of 13.0ps/8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 13Nm/5,750rpm, boasting a fuel economy of 51.0km/L (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism reported value: constant speed fuel economy of 60km/h, with two occupants).
Furthermore, the compact engine and frame make for a lightweight vehicle (equipped weight 139 kg), and the upright handlebars and low seat position (seat height 795 mm) provide a comfortable riding posture, making this a road sports bike that can be enjoyed for a wide range of purposes, from everyday use to weekend touring.
The Gixxer is a small-displacement bike that boasts a sporty design and powerful riding performance. The 2025 model, which comes in a new color scheme, is likely to attract support from a new demographic, especially among younger riders.
