Yamaha’s 250cc class mid-size scooter, the “XMAX ABS,” is equipped with a water-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-valve, 249cc “BLUE CORE*” engine. With styling that inherits the image of the “MAX series,” including twin headlights and side covers with a skeleton motif, this popular model balances nimble riding performance with comfort and practical functionality.
The first model of this car was released in 2017, and was redesigned in 2023. It underwent a minor change on April 14, 2025, and was released as the 2025 model. The main features of the 2025 model are:
1: The internal structure has been revised to reduce the muffler weight by 800g compared to the 2023 model, and a stylish muffler protector cover has
been added. 2: A convenient electric screen has been adopted.
3: An all-in-one meter (smoked lens) has been introduced, with a 4.2-inch TFT and a 3.2-inch LCD side-by-side.
The coloring is a luxurious “Crystal Graphite” used on the boomerang, leg shield cover, front cover, handlebar cover, and muffler cover, creating a bold “Black” that contrasts with the gloss black body. The “Matte Dark Gray” is accented with blue wheels and graphics, evoking sporty performance. The “Gray” has an inorganic and modern impression that is in line with the higher-end model “TMAX.”

This sports screen is compatible with the electric windscreen of the 2025 model. It features a short design that further enhances the sporty image of the XMAX ABS. Its dimensions are approximately 380mm in length and 340mm in width. It is made of PC (polycarbonate) with a hard coating.
*Please install the screen at the lowest position and do not use the electric height adjustment.
