Ducati’s sports cruiser “XDiavel” has undergone a full model change, with production of the new “XDiavel V4” now underway at the Borgo Panigale factory. Marking the 10th anniversary of the birth of the first XDiavel, the new model is equipped with a V4 Gran Turismo engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft inherited from MotoGP. This is the ultimate sports cruiser, combining high performance with a maximum output of 168ps and the low, relaxed riding position unique to a cruiser.

The XDiavel V4’s V4 Gran Turismo engine incorporates cutting-edge technology derived from MotoGP, including a counter-rotating crankshaft, to deliver a maximum power output of 168ps and a maximum torque of 128Nm, providing linear response and powerful torque even at low revs.
The wide 240/45 rear tire and special gear ratio deliver astonishing acceleration, with 0-100km/h acceleration in just under three seconds, defying conventional expectations for a cruiser.
With a vehicle weight of 229 kg, a monocoque frame, fully adjustable suspension, and a high-performance braking system that combines Brembo Stylema® calipers with 330 mm diameter dual discs, the bike achieves agility and outstanding dynamics that you wouldn’t expect from a cruiser, providing high levels of safety and driving enjoyment in any riding situation.
Achieving both comfort and advanced electronic control
The rear suspension stroke is 25mm longer than the first-generation model, and the optimized, thicker seat provides a significant improvement in comfort. The passenger seat is also 30% wider, 50% longer, and 25mm thicker, providing a more spacious design. Combined with the standard grab handle, this significantly improves comfort for two-seaters.
The bike is also equipped with a full suite of advanced electronic control systems to support the rider. It is equipped with a full package of electronics, including Ducati Traction Control (DTC) with Cornering function, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Cornering ABS, Launch Control, and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0. These can be intuitively operated via backlit handlebar switches and a newly designed 6.9-inch TFT color display.
In addition, Bluetooth connectivity allows for connection to a smartphone, allowing for call and message management, music playback, and even access to the turn-by-turn navigation system (accessory) via the Ducati Link app.
Ducati’s first ever red XDiavel
The XDiavel V4 is available in two metallic colors: “Burning Red” and “Black Lava.” The red color, a first for a Ducati sports cruiser, is a special shade different from the traditional Ducati Red and Racing Red. Meanwhile, “Black Lava” adds a warm hue to the cruiser’s traditional glossy black, expressing the XDiavel V4’s sophisticated individuality. The names of both colors, which evoke flames, emphasize the bike’s impressive riding performance.
Endless customization possibilities
The Ducati Performance catalogue offers a wide range of accessories to customise your XDiavel V4, including a rider footpeg centre position kit, high and low seats, a 48-litre semi-rigid case with passenger backrest (covered in the same colour as the bike), and many other practical items.
In addition, there are plenty of items to accentuate the bike’s individuality, such as an approved silencer with titanium quad-exit end pipes, a single-seat tailpiece that can be installed by removing the passenger seat, billet aluminum machined parts, carbon fiber components, forged wheels, and red or black brake calipers.
The XDiavel V4 will go on sale in Europe from May 2025, followed by North America in June and other countries later in the year.
