Suzuki GSX1100S KATANA

The modified GSX1100S KATANA was exhibited at the Bike King booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025.
Suzuki’s famous GSX1100S Katana, which was released in 1981, is equipped with a high-performance air-cooled, four-stroke, in-line four-cylinder, DOHC, four-valve, 1,074cc engine that produces a maximum output of 111 horsepower.
The GSX1100S KATANA was very popular for many years, but due to its outdated engine design it was unable to comply with exhaust gas regulations and production ceased in 2000. As a final edition, only 1,100 units were released in Japan in 2000. This model sold out immediately, once again demonstrating the popularity of the Katana.

This Yoshimura Japan-made exhaust system is made up of a titanium exhaust pipe and a carbon-wrapped silencer. The Yoshimura Japan Cyclone exhaust system, which is used in races with Suzuki vehicles, is a popular item not only for Suzuki GSX1100S Katana owners, but also for other Suzuki owners.

Suzuki GSX1100S KATANA…Complete machine built by RCM in Sanctuary (serial number: RCM-644)

RCM (Radical Construction Manufacture), developed by motorcycle customization experts SANCTUARY, is a fully custom-made complete machine production system that started in 2000.

The original complete machine “RCM” produced by Sanctuary is different from vehicles that simply have parts replaced. After the vehicle is completed, a road test drive of 200 to 300 km is carried out. Problems that are common in custom vintage machines are troubleshooted before delivery.

The headlights are multi-reflectors and the front and rear turn signals are mini type.

The front and rear tires are Bridgestone RS11, with sizes F120/70-17 and R180/55-17.

The muffler is a full titanium Nitro Racing Weldraft 3D Titanium EX with a Valiant Titanium silencer (matte black).

Sanctuary’s complete machine, the “RCM,” is fully customized in every detail, from the engine, frame, suspension, and exterior.
RCM (Radical Construction Manufacture), developed by motorcycle customization experts SANCTUARY, is a fully custom-made complete machine production system that started in 2000.
RCM primarily accepts applications for Japanese on-road sports models. Up until now, they have revived “treasured big bikes” such as the Kawasaki air-cooled Z series, various Kawasaki Ninjas, Kawasaki Zephyr, Suzuki Katana, and Honda CB-F as modern versions.
The original complete machine “RCM” produced by Sanctuary is different from vehicles that only have parts replaced. The key frame is reinforced after being modified. In addition, special processing is carried out to match the chassis dimensions.
The engine was installed after a full overhaul down to the smallest detail. The suspension was finished with high precision and uses current high-spec parts. Every section, including the electrical system, intake and exhaust system, position system, and body parts, was produced using a process that allowed no compromise.
After the vehicle is completed, it is subjected to a 200-300km road test drive, and problems that often occur with customized classic cars are troubleshooted before delivery, implementing a thorough system.
