Yamaha NMAX…389,400 yen

Yamaha Motor will release the 2025 model of its NMAX ABS moped scooter on April 14, 2025. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 389,400 yen (including 10% consumption tax).
The new model features improved driving performance and exterior quality, including an improved engine and suspension, revamped styling, and a newly designed LCD meter.
Improved driving performance through refinement of engine and suspension

The NMAX ABS is equipped with a water-cooled 124cc “BLUE CORE” engine, which achieves efficient combustion, high cooling performance, and reduced loss. This engine was developed with the aim of achieving both driving enjoyment and fuel economy/environmental performance. In addition, the front and rear suspension settings have been changed to pursue ride comfort and bump absorption. The rear suspension stroke has been extended by 5mm and the damping force has been adjusted to improve comfort.
Refreshed styling and newly designed LCD meter

In terms of styling, the boomerang-shaped side covers, synonymous with the MAX series, have been completely redesigned. The design flows from rear to front, visually creating the image of being released from the engine and moving forward. In addition, the shape of the top and bottom of the side covers has been changed, adding a sense of sharpness to the design.
The newly designed LCD meter features an animated design that flows when the ignition is turned on, and the meter display stimulates the rider’s drive to ride and excites them. It also features a “telescope cockpit” design that evokes the concentrated feeling of looking through a telescope.
Available in four colors

The car is available in four colors: “Matte Dark Reddish Gray,” “Gray,” “Matte Dark Gray,” and “White.” The deep red flakes in “Matte Dark Reddish Gray” sparkle in natural light, asserting its strength, while the “Gray” gives off an inorganic, modern impression that is on trend. The “Matte Dark Gray” is accented with blue wheels and graphics, evoking sporty performance, while the “White” is a clean, elegant color scheme.
The NMAX ABS inherits the DNA of the MAX series, which is popular in Europe and Japan, and is a city commuter that packs innovative styling and sporty driving performance into a compact body, pursuing comfort for commuting and city driving in urban areas.
