Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. will release a new accessory package, “XSR125 Low,” for the 2025 model of the neo-retro style moped, “XSR125 ABS,” on April 16, 2025.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 506,000 yen (tax included), and the “XSR125 Low” is offered as a specially equipped model that includes a low-type seat and a lowering link. The price of the lowering link alone is 8,250 yen (tax included).
This package adds special equipment that improves foot reach by up to approximately 30 mm, with the aim of providing a more comfortable riding experience to more riders.
Special equipment to improve foot reach

The “XSR125 Low” package includes a “low type seat” that is approximately 10 mm lower than the standard model, and a “low-down link” that changes the link length of the rear suspension and lowers the seat height by approximately 20 mm. This improves foot reach by a total of approximately 30 mm, providing a riding position that gives a sense of security, especially for smaller riders and beginners.
Classic design with the latest technology

The XSR125 ABS is a neo-retro style bike that combines classic design with the latest technology. It is equipped with a 124cc water-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum output of 11kW (15PS) at 10,000rpm and a maximum torque of 12N・m at 8,000rpm.
The 2025 model features a variable valve timing mechanism (VVA) and an assist and slipper clutch (A&S clutch), achieving both ease of handling and driving performance. Two new colors, “Light Bluish Gray Metallic 9 (Silver)” and “Very Dark Orange Metallic 1 (Brown),” have been added, bringing the total to three colors.
With the introduction of the “XSR125 Low” package, Yamaha aims to provide a comfortable riding experience to more riders and spread the appeal of the neo-retro style.
