Good Shape has announced the PONY2, an electric scooter that allows you to travel comfortably with your beloved dog. It has significantly improved functionality from the previous model and is designed to meet the needs of pet owners. Sales will begin on April 19, 2025, at a special price on the crowdfunding site CAMPFIRE.
The first 40 units will be offered a 5% discount coupon, making them available for purchase at the super special price of 140,600 yen. Customers can also check out the actual car at dealerships in Kyoto, Gifu, Kagawa, Fukuoka, and Saitama prefectures.
A new electric bike that makes traveling with pets more comfortable
The PONY2 is packed with features to make traveling with pets comfortable. It features a spacious cage where your pet can ride safely, and is designed so that you can check on them while driving. It also features a low-floor design that allows both feet to rest firmly on the ground, making it safe for even seniors to ride.
Economical and environmentally friendly driving performance
In terms of driving performance, it is equipped with a 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, which allows it to travel approximately 40km on a full charge. With electricity costs of 31 yen per kWh, it is economical at around 22 yen. It also has a total of 600W motors, 300W for the front wheels and 300W for the rear wheels, allowing for smooth driving even on slopes. It is possible to switch between two-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive, allowing you to choose the driving style that suits the situation.
Improved everyday convenience with diverse storage
It also has ample storage space, with three compartments: a large front case, a cage, and a carry bag. The front case can hold up to 5kg of luggage, making it convenient for everyday use such as shopping. The cage is designed to accommodate tall items, making it suitable for transporting camping gear. The carry bag is waterproof, so you can safely store electronic devices such as tablets.
