Bikes Weekly News Digest is a feature that brings you all the hot topics announced in the previous week. This time, we will be introducing the news announced from April 21st to 27th, 2025.

In third place is the younger brother model “ADV160”

Bike Future Research Institute (operated by Bike King & Company) has announced its 52nd “Resale Price” ranking covering the period from December 2024 to February 2025. In this year’s ranking, Honda’s adventure scooter “X-ADV” has returned to the top spot.

The X-ADV came in second in the previous ranking, but this time it has regained the top spot. Due in part to the impact of the 2025 model, released on December 12, 2024, its resale price rose by 9.9 points from the previous ranking, reaching 119.1 points. This model is highly acclaimed for its versatility, which allows it to be used for a wide range of purposes, from city riding to touring and outdoor leisure activities.

In second place was Kawasaki’s Z900RS SE with 113.9 points. In third place was Honda’s ADV160 with 111.9 points, a significant improvement from its previous ranking of eighth place. The ADV160 was released in January 2023 as the successor to the ADV150, and features improved riding performance and safety, including the installation of a new engine eSP+ and the implementation of HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control).

Also, in 8th place is Honda’s Super Cub C125, which made its debut with 94.0 points. Despite being a Class 2 moped, it is gaining popularity for its high cost performance and classic design. With prices continuing to rise, it is thought that the fact that it can keep purchase and maintenance costs down was appreciated.

The Bike Future Research Institute aims to think about a better future for the motorcycle industry, research and analyze new value, and disseminate it widely to society. We will continue to provide information that meets the needs of domestic riders.
