18-year-old girls create their own unique and funny Monkey 125 gas tank cover! Also featuring painted versions [Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025]

“ONE OR EIGHT” is supporting Yoshimura as they compete in the FIM Endurance World Championship!

ONE OR EIGHT manufactures almost all of the CFRP parts and gas tanks for the Yoshimura SERT Motul team, which competes in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC).

ONE OR EIGHT is an up-and-coming manufacturer that produces various motorcycle parts using CFRP (Note 1) and aluminum. The company is also known for producing almost all of the CFRP parts and gas tanks for the Yoshimura SERT Motul team, which competes in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC).

*Note 1: “CFRP” is a type of composite material that combines two or more materials with carbon fiber added as a reinforcing material.

At the ONE OR EIGHT booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025, in addition to the company’s motorcycle fairings and aluminum tanks, a number of unique covers based on the highly acclaimed gas tank cover for the Honda Monkey 125 were on display.

You can design your own one-of-a-kind Monkey 125 tank cover. There are three types available: white painted finish (white), rough finish (gray), and unpainted (black).

A gas tank cover made of dry carbon fiber specifically for the Monkey 125, produced in an autoclave. The unpainted type also uses UV-blocking wax and coating to prevent sun damage (this may vary depending on storage conditions, etc.). There are two types: “3K twill” and “3K plain weave.”

All of the above covers are designed to be fixed by removing the Honda emblem from the genuine gas tank, removing the seat, and then placing them over the genuine gas tank. No double-sided tape or bolts are required. They can be purchased from the company’s shop website below.

Pink base with stickers and decorations for an 18-year-old girl

We asked 18-year-old girls to “do whatever you want! Have fun!” and they created these cute and funny tank covers. After painting the surface with pink lacquer spray, they dressed it up with commercially available stickers, badges, chain-like decorations, and white fur used for clothing.
