A special edition that pays homage to the legendary machine

Following on from last year’s well-received Trident Triple Tribute, Triumph is launching a new special edition Trident Triple Tribute Black. This new special edition features a bold “67” race number graphic on the tank as a tribute to the legendary Slippery Sam, a five-time winner of the Isle of Man TT race.

The body color is a deep, lustrous Sapphire Black. Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red accents on the tank, tail, and front end create a striking contrast with the black body. Particularly eye-catching are the Diablo Red wheels. These striking red wheels, along with the fly screen that matches the color of the belly pan, assert the presence of this special edition.

Generous use of the latest technology

The new Trident Triple Tribute Black is packed with the latest technology to support the rider in their riding. Of particular note is the new Sport Riding Mode, which provides sharper throttle response.

In terms of safety, the bike is equipped with “Optimized Cornering ABS” which optimizes braking when cornering based on information from the IMU, and “Optimized Traction Control” which controls power output according to lean angle. Furthermore, “Triumph Shift Assist” which enables smooth gear changes without clutch operation is also standard equipment.

Cruise control is also now standard for the first time, enhancing comfort on long-distance trips, and these functions can be easily operated from the highly visible full-colour TFT screen.

Triple engine creates an exhilarating ride

At its heart is a specially tuned 660cc triple engine that delivers a maximum output of 81ps/10,250rpm and a maximum torque of 64Nm/6,250rpm, meeting the strict Euro 5+ environmental standards while still delivering the powerful ride you expect from Triumph.

With its linear torque characteristics and ride-by-wire throttle, the bike responds to the rider’s wishes in any situation, from city streets to winding roads. The powerful triple sound emitted from the single silencer is also one of the attractions of this model.

Ease of handling and driving pleasure combined

With a low seat height of 805mm and a lightweight body of 190kg, it is designed to be easily maneuverable by a wide range of riders. The combination of Showa 41mm inverted forks and a preload-adjustable mono shock provides both precise handling and a comfortable ride. The use of Michelin “Road 5” tires, which boast excellent grip, ensures a confident ride even on wet roads.

Price and customization possibilities

The Trident Triple Tribute Black is priced at 1,015,000 yen. It also comes with a comprehensive 10,000-mile (or one-year) warranty, which is an attractive feature. There are also 32 genuine accessories available, ranging from protective parts to luggage and security items, allowing owners to customize their vehicle to their liking.
