New sporty color “Vivid Yellow Solid 2” added
Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has added a new color, “Vivid Yellow Solid 2,” to the 2025 model of its 50cc scooter, the Cygnus Griffus, and will release it on May 12th for 374,000 yen including tax.
This new color features a black “CYGNUS” graphic and “GRYPHUS” emblem, emphasizing a massive and sporty impression. It will be available in a total of four colors, including the existing “Blue,” “White,” and “Black.”
“BLUE CORE” engine that combines driving performance and environmental friendliness
The Cygnus Griffus is a model developed based on the concept of “Advanced Total Performance Sport” and is equipped with a 124cc water-cooled “BLUE CORE” engine. This engine uses a variable valve mechanism (VVA) to deliver optimal torque across the entire engine speed range. With a design that focuses on three points – highly efficient combustion, excellent cooling performance, and reduced loss – it achieves a high level of both driving performance and environmental friendliness.
Convenient equipment and storage capacity for everyday use
To enhance everyday convenience, the bike is equipped with a front pocket equipped with a USB Type-A compatible socket and storage space that can hold a 500ml PET bottle. Approximately 28L of luggage space is provided under the seat, allowing for storage of helmets and small items. The bike is also designed with user-friendliness in mind, with features such as a fuel filler cap located on the left side and a flat step board.
With the addition of the new color “Vivid Yellow Solid 2,” the Cygnus Griffus now offers more options, making it an attractive choice not only for everyday transportation such as commuting to work or school, but also for riders looking for a sporty ride.
