BMW Motorrad’s “NIGHT RIDER MEETING TOKYO 2025” was a huge success

On June 7th, BMW Motorrad’s night event “NIGHT RIDER MEETING TOKYO 2025” ended with great success. 1,556 motorcycles and 1,950 riders gathered in the parking lot, heating up the night in Odaiba.

The largest BMW event ever! 1,556 cars gather at the Aomi Parking Lot

The “NIGHT RIDER MEETING TOKYO 2025” held at BMW GROUP Tokyo Bay in Odaiba, Tokyo, recorded a record number of participants far exceeding expectations. The parking lot was lined with 1,556 motorcycles , creating a truly impressive sight. The total number of visitors reached 1,950, making it the largest night meeting event ever hosted by BMW Motorrad.

The venue, the Aomi R Parking Lot, was filled with bikes from a variety of manufacturers, including BMW, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, and Harley-Davidson, creating a truly all-encompassing scene.

The excitement begins at 6 p.m.

The event began at 6pm, when the parking lot opened and many riders flocked in. At 6:30pm, registration for the test ride of the latest BMW vehicles began, and a long line formed, showing just how popular it was. Once the event officially began at 7pm, the entire venue was filled with energy.

Long lines at BMW’s latest model test drive event

The highlight of this event was the test ride of BMW Motorrad’s latest models. With the opportunity to test ride the latest bikes, which is usually hard to do, for free, many riders lined up as soon as registration began.

Test rides were available for the latest R, GS and F series models, and participants were able to experience their performance by actually riding them in the Aomi area at night. After the test rides, many riders commented that “the feeling of riding at night, which is different from daytime, was refreshing,” and “I was amazed at the evolution of the latest electronic equipment.”

Coffee and commemorative stickers are also very popular

The commemorative stickers were distributed from 7:45pm, but as they were limited in number, they were quickly gone. The free coffee offered to those who followed the official Instagram account was also well received, and many attendees were seen chatting about bikes with coffee in hand.

An exchange event welcoming all manufacturers

A unique feature of “NIGHT RIDER MEETING TOKYO 2025” is that it is not limited to BMW users. Bikes from all manufacturers gathered at the venue, providing a valuable opportunity for riders from genres that would not normally meet to deepen their interactions.

The sight of a wide variety of bikes, from supersport bikes to cruisers and adventure bikes, truly symbolized the diversity of motorcycle culture. Many participants commented, “I was able to see custom bikes that I don’t normally get to see,” and “It was great to be able to talk casually with owners of other manufacturers.”

A special 3 hours of coloring Odaiba at night

The venue, BMW GROUP Tokyo Bay, is a prime location overlooking Tokyo Bay. The numerous motorbikes against the backdrop of the night skyline created a truly photogenic scene. Many attendees were seen taking photos of the combination of their beloved bikes and the night view.

Anticipation for the next event is rising

It was striking to see so many riders reluctantly leaving the venue after the event ended at 9pm. The number of participants, 1,950, exceeded even BMW Motorrad’s expectations, and once again demonstrated the vitality of motorcycle culture in Japan.

Following this year’s great success, expectations are high for the next event, and BMW Motorrad Japan has indicated that it intends to continue hosting events that contribute to the development of the rider community.
