Easy installation without wiring, an evolved riding recording experience

Tanax Co., Ltd. will release the AKY-710S, a portable motorcycle dash cam, on July 25, 2025. Despite its compact and lightweight body that can be easily attached to the handlebars or around the mirrors, it is equipped with a variety of functions suitable for any riding situation, including 4K ultra-high-definition recording, nighttime photography, and IP66 waterproof and dustproofing. It eliminates the need for complicated power wiring work, adding convenience and peace of mind to your motorcycle life.
5MP SONY STARVIS sensor and large-aperture lens produce stunning images

The AKY-710S uses a 5-megapixel SONY STARVIS IMX335 sensor. Its high sensitivity and low noise performance allow for clear images, day or night. Furthermore, the combination of a large-aperture F1.6 lens and a 142-degree ultra-wide-angle lens ensures a wide field of view and sufficient light. HDR and WDR processing ensures clear recording of even the finest details, even in situations with large differences in brightness, such as backlight, at night, or when exiting or entering a tunnel. Even when driving at night, it clearly captures objects that would be easily overlooked with previous models.
It is also capable of high frame rate shooting at 2K/55FPS, which is excellent for number plate recognition and LED headlight countermeasures. Smooth, distortion-free images ensure the safety of riders.
Long-time recording and durability provide powerful support for touring

The AKY-710S has a built-in 1800mAh high-capacity battery, allowing for approximately 5.5 hours of continuous recording. It’s perfect for touring or professional use, allowing for long-term recording even when there’s no power source. The included 64GB microSD card allows for large amounts of data to be stored, and the loop recording function automatically overwrites old footage when the card is full, ensuring the latest footage is always available.
It also has IP66 waterproof and dustproof performance, ensuring stable operation even in the harsh environments that are unique to motorcycles, such as rain, mud, and dust. There is no need to worry if you suddenly find yourself riding in the rain.
Furthermore, the camera is equipped with a G-sensor that automatically locks the recorded data when it detects a collision or fall, preventing important scenes from being overwritten, reducing the risk of losing accident footage without the rider realizing it.
Compatible with a wide range of vehicles with a wide range of included accessories

This product comes with a variety of mounts, including handlebar mounts, curved mounts, and rearview mirror brackets, making it flexible for use on any vehicle and in any installation location. It also comes with a full range of accessories, including an anti-theft adapter, reset pin, and waterproof charging cable, so you can install and use it right out of the box. A waterproof USB cable also allows for easy charging and data retrieval.
The main body is lightweight at approximately 101g and compact at 35 x 38 x 88mm. It puts less strain on the bike and is less likely to lose balance while riding. The price of 14,850 yen (tax included) is also low for a high-performance model, making it an excellent value for money option.
The AKY-710S records any unforeseen circumstances in high-definition video, while also expanding the enjoyment of preserving riding memories. It will be a reliable partner not only for hobby touring users, but also for professionals who commute daily or make deliveries. It is likely to attract attention as the new standard for motorcycle dashcams in the future.
