Kawasaki Z900…From 1,485,000 yen
Kawasaki Motors Japan will release the 2026 model of its super naked “Z900” series on July 15, 2025. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the standard model “Z900” will be 1,485,000 yen (including Kawasaki Care and ETC2.0), while the premium “Z900 SE” will be 1,661,000 yen. Both models will come equipped with ABS and ETC2.0 as standard, and will be sold exclusively at Kawasaki Plaza.
The beauty of form and DNA of the series that encapsulates “Sugomi”
The new Z900 is equipped with a 948cc in-line 4-cylinder engine mounted on a lightweight frame, achieving both powerful acceleration and friendly handling. It inherits the “Sugomi” design that is the symbol of the Z series, with a low-slung silhouette, sharp body lines, and a rising tail that accentuates its sharpness. The clever use of metal parts creates a powerful presence that can be felt the moment the car starts moving, something that is unique to the Z.
Sugomi refers to Kawasaki’s unique design philosophy, which exudes a majestic aura and leaves an unforgettable impression on the viewer. The Z900 embodies this concept, exerting a commanding presence whether riding around town or on a tour.
Electronic control technology provides both safety and enjoyment
The Z900 is equipped with an electronically controlled throttle valve and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to achieve linear and sharp throttle response. It is also equipped with a quick shifter (KQS), cruise control, and smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, greatly improving convenience and comfort.
In addition, it features high-quality suspension and tires suited to street riding. With light and supple handling, it provides riders with an exhilarating ride feel in a wide range of situations, from city streets to winding roads.
“Z900 SE” is equipped with Ohlins and Brembo
The high-end model, the Z900 SE, is equipped with an Ohlins rear suspension and Brembo brake components for precise control. The seat has a luxurious finish with hand-stitched-style stitching, and the body color is metallic matte graphene steel gray x metallic matte carbon gray. A USB Type-C power supply is also standardly installed inside the front cowl, making it a specification that will satisfy the joy of ownership.

All Z900 series vehicles are eligible for Kawasaki Care. In addition to the initial monthly inspection, you will receive three years of regular inspections and oil (including oil filter) changes free of charge.
