The appeal of the Kawasaki KLX230 is its light and nimble ride, suitable for both on- and off-road riding.

The KLX230 combines a reliable air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC, two-valve, single-cylinder engine with a lightweight frame, delivering nimble riding performance both on and off-road. Optimized front and rear suspension and rear frame enhance the bike’s maneuverability and ease of riding.

The swingarm is made of aluminum, just like the KLX230R off-road model. The steps on the seat, shrouds, and side covers have been reduced to ensure the rider’s weight shift is not hindered. The ABS is equipped with a switch that can be turned off according to the rider’s preference, ensuring freedom of movement when riding off-road.

Suspension inspired by the KX motocross bike

The black aluminum rims tighten up the look of the bike, evoking the image of the KX motocrosser. The LCD display instrument is equipped with wireless communication capabilities, allowing you to check vehicle information and riding records on your smartphone.

New colors and graphics

Enhanced smartphone connectivity functions

The voice command and navigation functions of the smartphone app “RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE” can now be used. While the voice command and navigation functions require a paid license, customers who purchase this model as a new vehicle can use them free of charge for one year by using the QR code provided at the time of delivery.

If you wish to continue using the software after the free license expires, you will need to purchase a license.

The KLX230 S has a seat height of 845mm, making it more secure.

The KLX230 S retains the functionality of the KLX230, but by changing the thickness of the seat and the stroke of the front and rear suspension, the seat height has been lowered by 35 mm to 845 mm, making it possible to enjoy off-road and town riding with an even greater sense of security.
