Special clutch kit complete
This “Special Clutch Kit” features a luxurious aluminum die-cast clutch cover on a 5-disc clutch unit that is compatible with high-power tuning engines, such as those with increased displacement. A new, luxurious version of this kit with a silver-painted clutch cover has been released.
This clutch kit is a wet wire type that is easy to use on the street, and features a rack and pinion system that realizes light and smooth operation. It also features a clutch cable receiver with an integrated cover. The clutch release arm is precision machined from aluminum and anodized.

The large-capacity filler cap, made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome plating finish, makes it easy to fill engine oil.

■Clutch unit change
By changing from the stock crankshaft (primary side) to the transmission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced.The crankshaft shaft is also lighter, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
■ 5-disc specification
With five friction discs, it is compatible with high-power engines for both street and racing use.
■Slipper clutch
The slipper clutch version reduces the impact of sudden engine braking caused by downshifting at high RPMs, reducing sudden changes in posture, rear tire hopping, and strain on the engine.
The clutch section is equipped with a dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam. The back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transmitted to the clutch cam, which activates the pressure plate cam and clutch cam. By pushing down the pressure plate, the clutch is put into a semi-clutch state, which releases the back torque.
■ Primary driven gear
A rubber damper is built in to reduce shock to gears etc. when the clutch is engaged.
■ Lifter plate
The lifter plate is made of durable and strong aluminum. The slipper clutch is machined from aluminum.
■Clutch spring
It has excellent fatigue resistance and provides a stable clutch feel.
With five friction discs, it is compatible with high-power engines, whether for street or racing.

Expanded functionality with optional parts
Equipped with an oil outlet for the oil cooler

The die-cast clutch cover body is equipped with an oil outlet port for the oil cooler. By purchasing the SP Takegawa specified oil cooler kit, oil can be extracted from the clutch cover to the oil cooler.
Thermostat unit can be installed

By installing the SP Takegawa oil cooler kit and attaching a thermostat unit, it becomes possible to manage the amount of oil sent to the oil cooler, preventing overcooling.
The thermostat unit must be installed together with the SP Takegawa specified oil cooler kit.
