Royal Enfield has announced the pricing for the latest model in its CLASSIC series, the New CLASSIC 650, and will begin taking orders at authorized dealers across Japan from September 1, 2025. Prices, including tax, start at 949,300 yen for the basic model and go up to 998,800 yen for the top-of-the-line model, making clear its commitment to maintaining tradition while pursuing modern equipment and a high level of perfection. By emphasizing craftsmanship and offering a wide range of price points, this is a strategy aimed at further penetrating the Japanese market.

The CLASSIC series is the very identity of Royal Enfield. The New CLASSIC 650 faithfully inherits this model’s image, which continues to evolve through the ages. The 648cc in-line twin-cylinder engine is a refined design, and its classic streamlined form further enhances the expression of speed than ever before, while embodying timeless elegance. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer, reiterated the positioning of the CLASSIC series in Japan, saying he is confident that the new model will “protect and embody the brand’s DNA” and resonate with Japanese riders.

The basic model comes in Varrum Red and Brantingthorpe Blue, the mid-range model in teal, and the top model in black chrome, each offering upgrades that reflect the price range. The main frame shares a design with the SUPER METEOR 650 and SHOTGUN 650, and the passenger seat and subframe are removable, allowing for flexibility in customization according to riding style and load capacity.
