A new CLASSIC that combines Gore and custom

Royal Enfield has announced the GOAN CLASSIC 350, a new model that combines Goan culture with bobber style. The bike takes the Susegad (meaning “susegad”), the laid-back values of the people of Goa, a beach resort town in eastern India, and applies it to a riding style, adding a free-spirited touch to the traditional CLASSIC 350 styling. While maintaining its classic form, the bike boasts surprising individuality with high handlebars, short fenders, and a powerful rear design.

Engine and chassis: a focus on driving and ride comfort

At the heart of the GOAN CLASSIC 350 is a refined 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder SOHC J-series engine. With a maximum output of 14.9kW (20.2PS) and a maximum torque of 27Nm, it delivers smooth and powerful riding on a variety of roads, from city streets to mountain passes and even coastal roads. The chassis features a twin downtube spine frame, 41mm upright telescopic forks in the front, and twin shocks with six-stage preload adjustment in the rear. The front and rear wheels are 19-inch and 16-inch, respectively, with tubeless spokes and whitewall tires, achieving a harmonious blend of modern and retro styles.

Equipment and colors: comfort and expression for travelers

The GOAN CLASSIC 350 features an ergonomically designed, low-slung floating seat that’s durable enough for long journeys and is also suitable for tandem riding. A bolt-on rear seat allows for easy conversion between single and double seating, allowing for different uses depending on the situation. The lights are LED, with a tiger eye pilot lamp installed above the headlight. The speedometer and other gauges maintain a retro look, while digital displays for gear position, fuel level, and more are included. The bike is equipped with a simple navigation system called Tripper that can display destinations, and a USB-C port is also standardly installed near the handlebars. Four colors are available: Shack Black, Rave Red, Purple Haze, and Trip Teal, each with unique graphics and colors that stimulate the owner’s desire to express themselves.

Price, start of orders, and market outlook

Orders for the GOAN CLASSIC 350 will begin at authorized dealers in Japan from September 18, 2025. Prices start at 749,100 yen (tax included), rising to 755,700 yen for the higher-end model. The Japanese model comes with a pillion seat. Once released, it is expected to attract attention as a new option in the CLASSIC series for its style and performance. Through this model, Royal Enfield has made clear its intention to appeal to riders seeking a sense of unity and individuality in their journeys that goes beyond the boundaries of classic bikes.
