Presentation venue and objectives

Italjet officially unveiled the new Dragster 700 Twin at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari International Circuit (commonly known as Imola), the mecca of Italian motosports. The model was designed to be “something that’s hard to describe as either a scooter or a motorcycle,” with a strong presence both in urban areas and at highway speeds. Its radical design is combined with functionality, and it’s being described as the pinnacle of the Dragster series.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The engine is a 692cc liquid-cooled in-line twin-cylinder, producing a maximum output of 68 horsepower (51 kW), and the top speed reaches approximately 190 km/h. It is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a chain-driven final drive. This configuration is aimed at users seeking a neo-sporty and aggressive character. Safety features include dual discs (270 mm) in the front and a single disc (260 mm) in the rear, Brembo calipers, ABS, and traction control as standard, achieving both performance and control. The suspension uses an inverted fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. The vehicle weighs approximately 190 kg in wet conditions, and the seat height is 815 mm.

Attention to design and style

The Dragster 700 Twin inherits Italjet’s dramatic, graphical design language. Its exposed trellis frame, advanced LED lighting, and striking color and contrast accents are eye-catching. Even when stationary, the bike exudes a powerful presence, as if about to take off. The bike incorporates aerodynamic elements throughout, blurring the line between scooter and motorcycle, challenging a new category.

Price, release date, and target demographic

It has been reported that deliveries of the limited-edition Dragster 700 Twin model will begin in October 2025, with the standard version scheduled for release in January 2026. The price will be 13,990 euros in Europe (equivalent to approximately 2.43 million yen in Japanese yen). Furthermore, a 35 kW version that meets the A2 license (a light-duty license in Europe for young riders, etc.) will also be available, aiming to appeal to a wide range of users. It is expected to be a model that will appeal strongly to passionate riders and those who value individuality.
